They should have just included a seperate arm cannon and made the tank barrel fold up along his back somehow to emulate G1 Megatrons gun barrel. Then they could have kept it silver. Parts intragration has ruined yet another figure.

Oh my god man,
do you even enjoy life?

Now this guy I was a bit sceptical at first. Didn't like his spindly proportions or his gun. But now that i've seen better pix and the video (tho hopefully there'll be a less painful one to watch out soon).
this mother has working rubber tracks... what other tf can claim that? I mean i was thrilled to pieces with bludgeon so this is definitley a step up though they could've still made that cannon a bit better. maybe if it separated in 2.
Anyhow this will definitely lead the chug decepticons into battle.

Problem is once you pre-order you can't cancel it. I've never ordered from them before, but I found it when I was on Tumblr and the price isn't bad. 9.50 for shipping for me. So it came to $52.00 altogether.
You can get both Generations Megatrons for $89.99 shipped from Entertainment Earth at http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... NbIPPmjNcY

Yeah, EE has a good deal too! I was going to get from there originally, but I'm on the fence about Armada Megatron. I might pick him up next month though.

Which one? There were a bunch, and I much prefer the one below to lead my decepticons since he kept his gun alt mode albeit in a classics design:
AutobotAlvaron wrote:This is a better Megatron, to me, than many others in a very long time. Including even his spinning turret is brilliant! It looks like the same arm/turret design as Cybertron Scattorshot, which I always thought had a very creative mechanism.
As I've written elsewhere...Overall, I'm really looking forward to this Megatron, which looks better than his CHUG nerf-gun version. He's no Masterpiece, but he's the best HasTak G1-like Megs I've seen in a very long while. Generally, I've felt blah about many of the Megatron toys in the past, which leads me to a comparison of the Megatrons throughout the years...
RID/2000 Megs, though cool, didn't evoke "Megatron" to me, and seemed like a DeathSaurus type of toy/character.
I never cared for Armada Megs' moose antlers, and I love Energon Megs, but he's really G1 Galvatron.
Cybertron Megatron was a wacky-colored Unicron mash-up; the silver "Galvatron" was better.
Movie 1 Megs was a weird monster-faced, space-jet thing, like the Animated version, although the Animated Helicopter Megatron was cool. Movie 2 Tank Megatron was good, except for the stupid gimpy arm, and Movie Tanker Megs was Ok, but never got a decent Leader Mold.
Prime Megatron, like his Movie 1 counterpart, disappointed with a weak space-jet mode again, although his bot mode was Ok too.
WFC/FOC Megatron was good but deserved a Voyager or Leader mold, Titanium Megs was cool, but over-simplified.
We never got an Alternator Megs, a Cadillac concept would have been awesome though. Alternity Megs was Ok, but too small & not widely available like Alternators were.
IDW Megatron is cool, but again he should have been larger, & though I love my MP05, he's lanky, fiddly, delicate, and overly complex.
So this Combiner Wars Megatron is a large(ish), G1-like version that looks more promising than anything else for a very long while. He's not perfect, but he's the best I've seen these many years. Until MP Megatron version 2 comes out, this is my best substitute.
Regimus Prime wrote:Nice. Can't wait to get my hands on him. I love the face sculpt. This is probably on of the best G1 inspired Megatrons we've got ton in years. Lord knows that the movie verse versions were atrocious. Hasbro can have my money for this one twice

On the contrary, I didn't. I actually liked the movie versions. I still have to say, though, this one looks better.

Well, these new Leaders seem to be a bit smaller than the traditional leader class figure - dare I say, Ultra-sized?
Cuz it's Megatron's miner body, which is supposed to be colored like this:fenrir72 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Those colors are still very wrong for that mold.megatronus wrote:I don't know about all of you, but my favorite Megatron of the last decade is the recent Takara Legends Megatron w/ Chopshop:
If they had ups-ized this mold/design to a voyager with greater articulation and better proportions (probably possible in a larger size class), I would have been all over it.
Why?
