Unfortunately, the lighting in my room is bad, and I couldn't put him in any cool poses because they weighed him down too much. In fact, the only reason he was actually standing is because I had him resting against the wall.

I often have little to no interest in 3rd party add-ons. But I am tempted to just get that set to deck Rook out.

Here is a quick video for a fix to CW Brawl's waist. I don't have this figure to try this on but here it is.

A quick Mod for Combiner Wars Brawl to fix his horribly designed waist. No cutting required and he still transforms perfectly without any issues.

There is a waist swivel, so the treads are fine in tank mode. I just tried it, and as weird as it may seem, my Brawl tabs in better in tank mode after this modification than it did before. I may keep it.

Now, if it can just not look like Brawl's junk is part of a limited number set in bot mode.... 8-}

Hrm....you have a very interesting question there. With the ladder on the back, there are all kinds of small openings to wedge parts in, but the bottom of blades is so smooth. (Okay, did that sound dirty, or is it just me?)

On the other hand, there are Hot Spot's duel cannons that peg in on the back, with a side 5mm peg too. I'm thinking there could be a way to use Blades's hands to hold on to the cannons, and peg the cannons into the back. I'll try it and see if I can post a picture. I need to mount Groove on CW Defensor and take a pic anyhow...

I may consider that mod when I get Brawl. hopefully someone will confirm the functionality of it. and Rook is the best figure of this line, and I am pretty sure all but a few of you would disagree with that!
