These are just prototype shots. Obviously, we will see the real colors popping up eventually, as the rest of the combaticons.

Include a new-mold Blast Off instead of that redeco of Quickslinger.
Yes, but I was talking about Onslaught. Is it too much to hope for a proper cannon battery?

(Though a mostly-white arctic camo set of Combaticons would be AWESOME)

I do wish he came with new and better cannons, but at the same time I am very glad we are getting a proper gun shockwave and that he'll work with this set. That excites me to no end

Yeah but how many times did Bruticus actually use Shockwave as a gun? Most of the time it used an up-sized version of Onslaughts gun.

Even so, I like it better than getting a new recruit combaticon

That's honestly my only complaint about combiner wars, the reuse of weapons. I honestly don't mind the mold reuses but the weapon reuse choice is a little annoying.
Agreed. Cyclonus having Silverbolt's weapon is kinda irritating.

I cannot wait to get him, but he seriously needs an evil, nemesis version, maybe with asigil, and he can be, like, black, with dark purple and gold accents, and look amazing!
We need to start a petition to hasbro to at least make an evil version of that mold, as the combined mode head and 'beast' mode scream/
(evil) to me.

This. Cyclonus should have had his own "personal" styled corrosive spewing weapon.

I'll be honest, I'd rather have a G1-ized version of Underbite. Though I'd imagine just for saying that, I'm not gonna be popular around here.

I think 2010 lugnut can be considered a pseudo generations figure, rather than a movie figure.

Reveal the Shield Lugnut IS a movie character, actually...from the 1986 The Transformers: The Movie, that is!![]()
The RtS "Battle in Space" Rodimus and Cyclonus two-pack came with a comic book called "Rodimus vs. Cyclonus," made by IDW no less, that details some events of the 1986 animated movie and adds a "deleted scene" of sorts that takes place while Hot Rod and Kup rendezvous with Ultra Magnus' team on Planet Junk after commandeering a Quintesson vessel.
What does this have to do with Lugnut? He's depicted as fighting among the Decepticon ranks in the comic, at Autobot City and a few other scenes (I believe). Check this out, courtesy of TFWiki:
So, there you go. RTS Lugnut is a retroactively a G1 character, and so can be considered part of the "Classics/Universe 2.0/Generations" line of figures. Oh, and as RAR pointed out above, he's also in the Transformers United line from Takara Tomy. Need any more proof?
By the way, it would be nice if Lugnut's Seibertron.com gallery were moved to the correct subheading in RTS/Transformers 2010.

He has exactly five remolded parts. The head, each wing, the cockpit, and the vertical stabilizer. Not even remotely worth it. Unfortunately, they are probably going to release the rest of the Technobots at some point (probably with a retool/repaint of Deluxe Groove as Afterburner), so then I will end up needing this waste of plastic to complete him.Burn wrote:meh ... seems too similar to Silverbolt for my liking.
