They knew it was coming, we knew it was coming, and RID the comic was already renamed at that point. Sky Byte was not labeled as RID, and a hypothetical RID Prime out of Hot Spot wouldn't have to be labeled RID. I think Universe 2.0 has been the only CHUG line that's gone out of its way to say "This figure represents a character from [x]". So hypothetically speaking, an RID Prime released concurrently with RID 15 would not be the conflict of interests you claim it to be.

Sure looks like it would be "good enough for Hasbro" to me.![]()
Good enough for Hasbro, maybe, but not good enough for me! *shakes fist*
But okay, I admit that Hot Spot's default head works better than I thought it would. You got me there.
Anyway, it's already been confirmed to be a fan custom, so all this talk is moot anyway.
Nothing wrong with hypothetical discussion. There's not a lot else to discuss until the wave 1 2016 stuff drops.
ACTUALLY. I recently got First Aid and Dead End and I found some problems with mine in particular. My First Aid's handfootgun seems to have been misassembled. The four-finger portion is missing the slot between the knuckles that lets it attach to the back of First Aid's vehicle mode. And my Dead End seems to be a tiny bit shorter as a leg than my other figures. Has anybody else encountered these particular problems? Any known solutions?
