I make it a point to limit each combiner to one Legends-size figure. This prevents poor Menasor from getting a ranged weapon. I could put Breakdown's rifle in his hand (I give all of the Stunticons their melee weapons in robot form), but it looks hilariously dumb with him having a pea-shooter. If I could give Shockwave to Megatron (which I can't due to the stupid design of his weapon peg), I would give Viper to Bruticus.

Know what I did for Menasor? I used that disk launcher from FoC Kickback. It actually makes a very good weapon for him

Menasor's sword looks much better in the PE hands, which is what I use.

And I really think they should have done the Shockwave for G2 Bruticus in a gray Astro Magnum/Longarm Prime color scheme. Just me?

No. While he is advertised as being part of Sky Reign, no image has shown as such.

Well, Combaticons deluxes are hitting walmarts all over the East coast, and I managed to find them yesterday. I chose to pick up Swindle and Brawl. I must say, Brawl is a bit better than initial reports would have me believe. His waist has a soft click that holds it in place in the intended position (paint apps forward), so it's not going to flop around unless you shake him a bit. I don't mind the gap too much, you can't really see it from the front, and even from the sides I can write it off as "robots are weird". He has a solid transformation, good range of articulation, works well in all modes (I've even done the unthinkable and made him an arm). My only problem with him is actually in his shoulders. They're on a two-ended hinge that connects to the torso and the inside of his arm, and the one inside his arm also rotates. They're very loose, so he can't hold his arms at some angles, and he also can't move his arms in or out when they're not straight up and down. It's not a huge problem, but it's there.

Almost perfect. His visible hands in alt mode bother me a bit, his front bumper panels don't quite line up right always, and much like the Rook mold, the lack of anything to fill in the space between his shoulders and head in alt mode bugs me a bit. But he's great otherwise.

Well, I guess you can always keep him in his glorious bot mode; I like the idea that his head looks like an engine block for his alt mode.

This pretty much nails it That is kinda an issue for me, as the hand really isn't holding the sword so it looks weird and unnatural to me. Not a HUGE issue by any means, but just isn't right either.

Well said. The Rook mold is among the top 3 molds of combiner wars overall to me. They did a great job and the Swindle and Hounds all look very good too
