He's not really a gen toy either. He's a redeco from the cybertron line, part of the unicron trilogy.

Awesome toy by the way, one of the best car transformers of all time! Simple but extremely effective!

I've gathered he's really awesome, and I like the looks of him and I am a fan of easier transformations, so it should be fun! :BOT:

He's the proof that easier doesnt mean lazy or less detailed or kiddie. I feel only now after a decade that we are finally going back to that mindset with RID and CW.
Well put! :APPLAUSE:

Indeed, though, I think we might be better off now though, as they've learned a lot of clever tricks for doing things transformation wise, though, it hurts to think that the rid figures are only about 50% as solid as the cybertron figures :HEADHURTS:

A lot of the animated and movie figures had good 'heft' to them, heck, dotm megs has a nice solid design, and he debuted during the shrink-and-hollow-out-tf-figures campaign...

You know, you're right. The movie toys so often fall off my radar. 2007 Leader Prime = Brick **** House, and I love 'im. Ani too. I still think Takara couldn't get Cybertron out of their brain when they tooled that Leader. Those ratchets! Soooo clicky!

But we better start talking about CW quick. You never know who's watching. :(

We were totally on topic though.

We were discussing the Cybertron line, which gave us Primus, Primus created the 13 Primes - the most powerful of whom was Alpha-Bravo, thus making Alpha-Bravo a Cybertron character and figure that was ret-conned into the Combiner Wars line.

Since we now know this, and, since it was previously established in another thread that Alpha-Bravo is not only always on topic but also the topic, I can only conclude that we were totally and completely on topic when discussing the Cybertron figures :-D

(and since the movie lines included a white and orange helicopter, I can only conclude that Alpha-Bravo is also a movie-verse figure, thus doubly reaffirming my stance that we were totally on topic)

(I've had my fun, I'm done now)

I knew that Alpha Bravo was the source of all this  will titans return give us anything like the cult of AB though?

It's easy to forget through all the repaints that hasbro have threw at us (I like to think of this as Hasbro pretty much saying: "you want more G1 references? Well here you go!" Remember kids, always be careful what you wish for, as they may end up combining with everyone else) that there was some pretty darn good molds in the CW line.

I loved all of the designs (sans menasor's torso mode) they were fun and clever, and worked well considering they had what was ostensibly identical torso's. While I'm not sure I can call any of them individually my fave figures (maybe if my swindle had been engineered correctly :BANG_HEAD: ) - though I forsee hope Sky Awesome combined as my favorite figure of the year, who may be dethroned depending on how Deathsaurus turns out.

But the combined modes will hold most of the place in my heart forever, it's been a truly wonderful line :x

I dunno, it may have to be someone new and truly deserving of such a following... like CrashBash

Superion comes out as my favourite combiner out of the line but I think that also resonates with me as he was the one combiner I had complete for the longest time before my parents sold him part and parcel. My only reminder limb from his G1 self was ironically Slingshot.

Superion set the bar very high for the rest to follow. He had great limbs, an awesome torso and transformation, and he looks so good all over. Defensor equaled that to me and he is my favorite. I think Bruticus was pulled off really well too, and takes a bit of an advantage over Defensor since he doesn't have very large robot mode feet on his thighs and his arms are both planes, making his arms and legs similar sizes to one another and looking better balanced :BOT:

You're these for some theortical repaint/remolds for some CW figures?

Stalker (uses Onslaught)
Talon (Air Raid)
Falcon (Firefly)
Skydive (Skydive)
Flare (Quickslinger)

All with new heads. They combine to form Skyquake. Some form of remold of Shockwave with a new head to represent Stalker's missile in vehicle mode.

I would love to see a Turbomaster variation using the Menasor to represent the Thunderclash and the cars, but there are too many uses of those molds already.

Ya know if they make a titan class Predaking, I am most certain that they'll either all be the same size, or Razorclaw will be a leader class figure with the others being voyagers. Both are doable, it just depends on what proportions you are going for.

I wasn't even aware I was on Team Burn. I just reread LSotW and remembered that it had the Predators and they were awesome. And this combination just makes sense to me.

It's actually an idea that's popped up a couple of times in this thread (easy enough to miss considering how large it is and how often the News Crew flood it with spam) and you're right, it makes a LOT of sense, more so than taking a bunch of Autobot characters (the majority of which had already received CHUG updates) and turning them into Combiners.

The problem is it would likely be made of 4 Alpha Bravo repaints, allowing Va'al to steal Burn's thunder.

And speaking of multiple Alpha Bravos, aren't we about to see Victorian? Maybe final production models at Toy Fair in a couple of weeks?
