But doesn't rule it out completely somewhere down the line. After all, look at Thrust, Dirge and Thundercracker.

If TT did it, I'd consider picking it up, assuming it were reasonably priced; not sure though, as the combined mode may be considered too 'flimsy' for a retail release, as it might feel unfinished...

Literally the only other redeco I want is Bluestreak. Because despite not having the big characteristics of Prowl - car door wings, window feet, hood rack - it really wins me over as a classics Prowl somehow. They made a Smokescreen but there needs to be a Bluestreak to complete it.

I guess you could, except it would inevitably look like a bad bruticus cosplay, unless they changed the combined modes chest design, since it would be 3/5 of bruticus already with 2 aerialbots (which would actually make it 4/5 of bruticus, since he's using an aerialbot limb already) so it seems absurdly redundant. Plus, the bruticus torso is still kinda wibbly and squat, so it wouldn't be the tall, lean Nexus Prime we all deserve. Now, if they changed the torso to scattershot...

I think you could easily get away with using the Hot Spot/Pyra Magna mold over Onslaught. The original torso vehicle mode Heatwave and Barricade had was never that well defined anyhow...

Yes. It was said at the TCC Roundtable panel that Counterpunch is the pretooled head for Wheeljack, and that the backstory for the figure is that Punch's Counterpunch side finally took him over just as his original bio said he feared would happen.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The fact that the Club released this figure means that Hasbro has no current plans to release it on their own. Yeah, Reflector, Ratchet, and Counterpunch were all given to the Club by Hasbro since Hasbro doesn't have any current plans to release them themselves.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Yes. Well, that scratches off one more unknown alternate head. So far we have:
Firefly & Quicklinger
Skydive & Starscream
Air Raid & Thrust
Drag Strip & Mirage
Breakdown & Sunstreaker
Wheeljack & Counterpunch
Dead End & Wildrider
Streetwise & Prowl
Offroad & Ironhide
First Aid & Ratchet
Swindle & Hound
So far I'm only missing Rook's and Brawl's alternate heads... if they even have one. I expected at least one to be used with Hasbro's Nosecone.
*EDIT* I'm only counting the ones built into the mold by original design. The likes of Trailbreaker, Victorion, Liokaiser and Computicon I consider "added on".

I'm really surprised that Hasbro made these available. Feels like the line is getting cut perhaps before it should have.
I know people are tired of the same molds, but dropping a CW figure into a few waves of Titans Return would have been alright.

FunPub using unused pretooled heads has happened before: look at BotCon 2012 Treadshot and Ultra Magnus.

:EDIT: Just to complete the list quickly:
Powerglide & Viper
Blackjack & Rodimus
Groove & Wreck-Gar
Shockwave & Reflector
Firefly & Quicklinger
Skydive & Starscream
Air Raid & Thrust
Drag Strip & Mirage
Breakdown & Sunstreaker
Wheeljack & Counterpunch
Dead End & Wildrider
Streetwise & Prowl
Offroad & Ironhide
First Aid & Ratchet
Swindle & Hound
Optimus Prime & Battle Core
Onslaught & Armada Demolishor (unused)
In addition to Rook and Brawl, Silverbolt, Hot Spot and Motormaster have yet to show their other sides.

While I agree and am desperately holding out for a Bluestreak (I'll probably end up going on about it so much it becomes my thing even though I'm not a really big Bluestreak fan), I doubt we'd see deluxes and voyagers from CW in TR because they don't have the same wide-line gimmick as the rest of the deluxes and voyagers. Unless someone in Hasbro really wanted to get Sideswipe in and cut a deal for him to be drastically retooled into a headmaster, I can't see it happening.
However... that probably won't stop us getting new versions of CW Legends molds in the line, as CW demonstrated by having a repaint of Generations Legends Optimus as Pipes and Huffer. Warpath from Megatron and all that. Personally I hope they prioritize a Legends Kickback to join Bombshell and Shrapnel though lol.
And of course, we can likely expect boxsets - in fact, with the whole Combiner Force trademark and the fact we're getting the boxsets of Victorion, Computron and G2 Bruticus (And Liokaiser, who due to not being officially revealed seems to be coming much later!) during TR... call me crazy, but I think maybe we'll end up getting more Combiner Wars boxsets all throughout Generations in purely boxset form. I think that's what Combiner Force is referring to - a subline of combiner boxsets. ... within the subline of Generations itself. I dunno, could be wrong; but I think it'd be cool and it kinda parallels what Takara is doing - running Unite Warriors as it's own subline thing alongside Legends. It's our one hope for Predaking lol

If I end up getting her, the cars will be the legs and the copters will be the arms. Looks much better that way.Hellscream9999 wrote:
