Site sponsor BigBadToyStore has just listed pre-orders for the previously announced Transformers Generations 2014 Deluxe Series three featuring Crosscut, Rattrap, and Tankor. These guys are scheduled to arrive April.
What's really interesting though is a listing for Transformers Generations 2014 Deluxe Series 5 apparently includes Arcee and Chromia! No images are included on the pre-order, and they are oddly scheduled to arrive in March. Of course these arrival dates are subject to change.
No sign of series 4 at the moment.

Despite its strong G1 and Beast leanings of late, technically anything still goes in Generations, right? So am I the only one worried they're both going to just be repaints of Bayniverse and/or Prime Arcees?
Just sayin'. Lack of pics leaves me pessimistic wherever "new" Arcees that we're assuming aren't the same bikes we've seen before are concerned.

Personally, and maybe this is just me, I'd like to see an amalgamation of the styles, which could be easily done by using one of TFP Arcee's figures (Preferably PRID), repainted in a the movie's realistic style, (Magenta/black in place of pink/white) with a G1 styled head

And, Arcee's been a regular in the comics for some time now, so the new toy could be based on her current IDW look (which, IIRC, resembles WFC Arcee). and Chromua just showed up in Dark Cybertron, so however she looks in there could be how her toy will look.

I'll give them Deluxe money for a scrunched up piece of tissue paper with a crayon drawing of Chromia if they give me a proper, more or less G1 Arcee in pink and white.

So wave 5 is coming out before wave 3, and wave 4 is not listed. First the waves go from four figures to three figures, and now to two figures. So wave five is essentially one new mold, as I'm assuming Chromia will be a slight retool of Arcee. I guess Hasbro wants less non-movie product on the shelves when the movie product comes out in May.

Way too early to get excited for me as I've been burned a couple of times b4 when waiting for Arcee. I fell off from the IDW comics for awhile but I've seen pics of Arcee on the net from anywhere between a Motorcycle, Car, and a Spider just searching on Google. Chances are they would choose the spiderform just because the execs would deem it "cool". I feel lucky just to have gotten TFA Arcee which is currently my Generations/classics version.

I guess shortpacked wasn't the right word. I just mean, like, I don't think I'll be able to lock on to one in retail. If it was 5x, maybe I'd be more comfortable. But I'll get scalped, just like Masterpiece Prime and just like everything else.

Interesting to say the least. If they do up a solid car mode for Arcee, I might not have to go with the 3rd party guys, and my wallet will be happier. I wonder if they would try to do a repaint for them though... Who would they repaint HMMMmmmm... Scoop?
Got my tankor and rattrap orders in. Wasn't going to get Rattrap at first, but after rewatching some beastwars, it reminds me of how awesome the show was, and how sweet it will be to have Generations figures commemorating them.
