No no, this Dead End/Pointblank/Crankcase/Skullgrin wave is Wave 3. Wave 4 is still supposed to be Breakdown and WFC repacks of Cheetor and Wheeljack, kinda like you initially said.

Do really need yet another Wheeljack? How many times has he been released now? 5? Where are other figures like Sunstreaker or Prowl for example? Why aren't they getting re-releases?

Is there anyone out there that still needs a Wheeljack and can't get one of the previous versions?

Not me. Wheeljack drew the short straw in my collection, I'm waiting till the authentic gets downscaled, it's much cheaper and better than most authentics.

Agreed, the Authentics version is pretty good looking. A bit light on the articulation, bot otherwise looks pretty good. Can't find him anywhere near me though

Articulation is good, just not WFC good. Scale is off though, I hope he gets downscaled then I'll buy him. (he'll also be EVEN CHEAPER that way) I'd say this figure is a win-win.

He's pretty much an upscaled and simplified WFC Wheeljack. So if you want a downscaled version of that, just get Netflix-EarthRise-Kingdom-Legacy...etc... Wheeljack.

I just want a cheap Wheeljack that's not crap.

Earthrise, Kingdom, Legacy Wheeljack isn't crap...he's just overbooked.

As I said, Wheeljack drew the short straw. You don't want to know what is currently holding his spot in my collection. But where can I find any of the authentics line?

I felt prime was a good show, I just wish that beast hunters could have worked more of the predacon toys into it.

I've seriously heard the attitude one before too many times, never figured out why. I try not to sound like a car crash....

I didnt really get as far as Beast hunters with Prime, and haven't seen the full show unfortunately. I think I saw most of the first season and kinda fell off after that. More predacons wouldve been great though, the toys they came up with were pretty unique I thought

I'm actually curious what appeal it has. I tried watching it, wasn't for me. But I have a friend who is massively G1, yet he somehow also loves Prime. What do you enjoy about it?

The design was already very G1 inspired but I like the Prime design better, looks cooler and I like the swords and head. ER wheeljack looks campy and boring imo. To be clear though, I just like the design. The character pissed me off, g1 wheeljacks character is much better
They cross both and make a wheeljack with both swords and tools and that'd be cool

That's what we want but isn't what Legacy is giving us, based on Arcee, Bulkhead, and Knock Out all receiving unfaithful G1-ified designs.

Never said it had to be legacy. Just said it would be cool at some point. Cliffjumper would be great too

That's not what they're giving us so far, but we'll see what happens when skyquake comes along. I'm okay with the Wreckers Bulkhead at least, arcee is tolerable I'm head canoning her as chromia anyways. Knock Out is a shame, can't bring myself to get that one.

What other thread would I have brought it up in? They could start a new line after legacy and I'd bring it up in the thread for that line too. Unless there's a "future lines that don't exist yet" thread that you can point me to?

And then why not just buy the original? I'm sure it isn't cheap, but it's probably as accurate as Hasbro will ever go and it's a modern figure so Hasbro would probably never improve on it (maybe ankle tilts). Better to wish for a reissue.
