The head and face sculpt are obvsly much different that Needlenose’s., which I personally like better.

Well there's 7 members. I do think it would have been cool during PotP but now that Hasbro is going for super accurate depictions ( whether from toy or animation) I doubt we'll ever get something like an Insecticon combiner.

Quite right. Completely forgot about Venom. Yet, in light of Volcanicus and Combiner Wars in general. Never say never when it comes to retroactive Gestalts.

How about the Beast Wars combiners? They have yet to be remade.
Too bad all that translucent plastic has made Tripredacus so fragile.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:AllNewSuperRobot wrote:o.supreme wrote:AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Never thought I'd see the day when the Deluxe Insecticons would receive an official release? I've championed those for a long time. Magnaboss in particular could do with a modern overhaul. Tripredacus, still one of the best designed combiners to date. Self contained and balanced, with minimal kibble.

A leader would be enough, but for PERFECTION, commander would be the right class.

The one (big) flaw. That's the part that would benefit from a modern redux. Whereas the top heavy mess that is Magnaboss would need a lot of work. Especially when it comes to making Silverbolt and Ironhide look decent in bot mode, too.

Yeah, not saying it’s right or wrong, but Hastak is trying to accurately scale bot modes together, rather than put a character into a class based on which budget would do the most justice for an individual’s ideal engineering needs.
Since we’re getting a leader class Springer, I’m going to bet any future triple-changers will follow suit.
I was recently telling a friend that I thought next year would be really quiet on the collecting front…
Now it looks like I could be buying so much that I’d almost prefer a new Octane release be put off until 2026.
I don't know if a leader would be enough. It didn't work for Blitzwing.-Kanrabat- wrote:Till-all-R1 wrote:If Hasbro wanted to release a Commander Class Octane that would interest me.

I think what botched Blitzwing was the way they handled the attempt at 'toon accuracy methinks. As well as using some of that budget for those gauntlets when it probably wouldn't have hurt to add an extra hinge or two - not that I'm an expert on how the budget even works or the engineering and all that anyway.
I guess I can also blame the 'toon for having Blitz's tank mode facing the wrong way in the first place, heh!

Thank you WJ, Seibertron, and the rest of the staff!
I got the email earlier but Pulse was already sold out. Thank you for the info and the Amazon links!
Appreciated and helpful!

Like the Armada and Energon themed figures we saw in Legacy, this is a very faithful design as opposed to a « G1 » reimagining like we saw with the Prime and RID2015 characters.
