They can do more G1 if they went stupid with it and made every early season combiner a titan to match with Devy.

I understand this perception. However in a market where we are always going to get "Legacy Characters" (by definition, not the toyline) like Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, BB each year, I think asking for One Grandus (Just like many fans are waiting for a decent new Thunderwing or Bludgeon) every 30 years or so is not unreasonable. I mean we've had what... 4 Blitzwings in the last decade?
I know this isn't how the real world works, but I can go all the way back to T30. That line was similar to Legacy in that it mixed characters from various timelines. Any OG character that hasn't had a new toy since before 2013 should get priority IMHO, behind a limited selection of top tier characters that will have updates every 1-3 years. I understand Hasbro wants to make money by focusing on the core of 84-87 (heck those are most of my favorites also), but there is quite a bit from 88-91 (North American, Japanese, and European market characters) missing and I'd love to see modern interpretations of them.

The same kinda deal as a deluxe? Yeah, okay. As a titan? Hard pass.

So I approve of the OPTION of using those ugly energon weapons to simulate an abdomen. It ain't perfect, but I guess it's better than nothing.
If my minions can FIND a Deluxe Kickback at all, that is. The Legacy Deluxes are proving about has hard to find as Netflix Bumblebee was...

o.supreme wrote:The perception that Grandus is a Titan has been debunked. He really wasn't THAT big.But with better articulation and a ton of accessories, it would make an Awesome Commander Class toy, especially with the TT Selects Star Convoy
