Correct. That is the black Diaclone deco, but which SG applied to its own Ironhide, making it double for both concepts.carytheone wrote:My first thought was Diaclone,

Comic accurate would be cool, especially if they went all GI Joe v TFs on the decos. People would loose their ****. But seriously, that would be cool.Rodimus Prime wrote:Personally, I would love it if the next MP was a comic accurate G2 Megatron...
Sure, but they will come with their own escrow accounts. Will Tamara ever attempt a MP gestalt?

UW Devastator was based on a MP concept for the guy, and is practically as close to one that we can get for now.Rodimus Prime wrote:Will Takara ever make a MP gestalt?

A decade ago, I got the TrU exclusive MP Grimlock as a Christmas present. He came in T-Rex mode, and I transformed him and placed him on my Grimlock shelf. Other than dusting it and changing his pose, I didn't touch it since. Today I transformed him back into T-Rex mode for the first time. Surprisingly, all the joints are still tight, the transformation is easier than I remembered, and his lights still work. And now PoTP Grimlock can hold his gun and sword.

I like everyone but I think:
Huffer. Must include a small Hoist figure that fits in his cab! And the ability to connect with MP-44's trailer.
Gears. I loved "Changing Gears" and his grumpy personality. His design is rather unique, his head almost GoBot-y. (So's Huffer's, with that super-hero mask.) Both Gears and Huffer don't have even one good official toy representation imo. Also, he'd be space efficient.
Hoist. He's a good character and I want to complete the Grapple-Hoist-Constructicons partnership!

But then I scrolled down and saw the 'Cons.
I'd really love to see the Insecticons.
Edit: I feel like we had a clue that Trailbreaker and Hoist were imminent. I remember reading a comment by Williamjames about it somewhere.

Trailbreaker is my second choice. Kup third.
Decepticons: Reflector. Make it 1:1 real camera size, hell go crazy and license it with Canon.
Insecticon would be 2nd, 3rd and 4th - or would it be 4th, 5th and 6th?

As for my picks, Jazz and Galvatron are both long overdue; and for the third one... erg, it's tough for me to choose. I guess I'd like to see ho they'd pull off a MP Triple Changer, so I guess either Springer (he's cool) or Astrotrain (I like both locomotives and spaceships) would be my third choice.

Out of curiosity, why Cliffjumper? Had the toy has a kid, like the character on the show, a Porsche fan? All of the above?

There was the designer's wishlist..
https://www.seibertron.com/transformers ... ion/38195/– Please tell us as much as you can on the Future of Masterpiece?
This part is hard to translate
Beast Wars & G1 are being released alternately since both parties are in different purchasing demographics seperated by age and so on. The release pattern has been thanks to you. We have managed to capture the age that was playing at the time of the show being broadcast and would like to keep the fever of waiting away by releasing more Beast Wars.
I want to distinguish between the 4×4 designs of Hoist and Trailbreaker in the meantime for the G1 fans, which will be troublesome.
I think Megatron and now Sunstreaker really suprised the fans & designers even!
I hope that Hoist can be realised with a few of these suprises. Alot of the masterpiece cars have come together.
We arranged the successive Masterpieces side by side the other day at a festival and they were very popular.
–
I would like to arrange the car robots in rows like the opening sequence of the animiation.
I want to produce the remaining characters including the minibots.
There are many similar opinons as mine, so I’m speaking on their behalf as we take different directions to clear the obstacles in commercialising these products.

Seriously though:
1. Galvatron - The Ultimate Decepticon is long overdue.
2. Rodimus Prime - Given the MP Line's fetish for Prime, is a Gimmick Free version of his successor too much to ask for?
3. Ape Face/Snapdragon - The Horrorcons have been screaming out for MP level figures for so long. Pretty sure Snapdragon hasn't had another figure since the 80's either.

Ah, but which Astrotrain? A Masterpiece of the original toy or cartoon accurate model? Both are very different and I don't really think the latter is all that feasible either.

From Takara though.
I mean, I watched this and Sunbow seemed to botch the character model so much, it looks like a real headache.

Outside of that, Galvatron.
WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE US GALVATRON??!
Not to mention, Dinobots. All five of them done up in the new toon style, is something even the 3P's haven't done. And they'd be a sure hit.

2 -- Mirage
1 -- Blitzwing

(The combiners and citybots are greyed out because rumour has it Takara will not be doing them. Too large I guess. But they might surprise.)
Not surprised by #1-!
Figured there would be more Trailbreaker/Hoist. They were so different from each other on the cartoon, it'd be interesting to see how Takara handles them.
