You are correct. I must've mistook it for a second Skrapnel card since his was right next to it.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Qwan wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Skrapnel also has a Liege Maximo card. Speaking of Primes, another has been (accidentally) confirmed: Onyx Prime
Rather fitting for Skrapnel, as he's the Beast Mode Prime.
Heck, there's gonna be tridecadipping going on if this is correct. I pity the poor variant collectors...
I thought the Liege Maximo card in the same gallery was for Windcharger.

Maybe if you ever get into a conversation about collecting all 13 mass produced versions of the Classics Optimus Prime mold.
Cutthroat's fist looks like Skar.

Man, I really want to like Windcharger, the body and car modes look great, but that head. The Scout and recent Legend versions had pretty near cartoon accurate sculpts, so how did this one turn out to be a lazy slab with a face on it?

I share those exact sentiments, except I'm not funny enough for the Lemmy joke.
I'm really unimpressed by Volcanicus though. Feels like a step backwards for combiners. The stupid right knee kibble and overall 'T' shaped torso makes what should be one of THE most fearsome combiners appear flimsy. If Takara puts them in a boxset, I may swap around Slag and Snarl and hope it gets the Perfect Effect treatment.

Volcanus looks dumb. If i didn't have my dinobots, I'd buy them and never combine. Sg roddy looks rather sexy.

Very slick, Jelze
Though this is definitely not the first I've heard of the 13-cards idea. Maybe it was mentioned back at Hascon? Or maybe it's just an odd theory that's popped up twice now...
Hang on though, everyone's complaining about slag giving volcanicus a glorious spiked knee ornament, and not about sludge meaning he just has a brontosaurus (sorry, Dino people!) head dangling off his other knee?

It's both good and bad. I'll admit it was awesome to see Fortress Maximus piloting a Titan in his image (although it was colored more like Brave Max from car Robots than actual Fort Max). But you could tell IDW was uncomfortable shoehorning it in, and unfortunately we will probably never see the Fort Max styled Titan again (although I'd love Fort Max to keep it as his personal ship...doubtful though).
But yeah I was really displeased with Predaking's first outing in Revolutionaries, After waiting 10 years and he gets beaten like a chump by a bunch of humans & Kup...
oooh...I just remembered that they are supposed to do an arc at some point with Onyx Prime, maybe he brings back Predaking as the super-powerful badass he's supposed to be.

I wouldn't be surprised if titan max shows up again, whenever max is next relevant! I hope so, anyway...
The predacons were an odd one though. iirc it was only razorclaw who was killed, so maybe theyll find a way around it? They squeezed scoop into devastator before, and death isn't always permanent in tf lore. Onyx prime is a very interesting point actually, especially given the most recent issue of revolutionaries
In all honestly though I doubt the comics will link in quite as hard this time around. They're still building up the primes as mysterious and mostly mia, not just... hanging around possessing pretenders

Agreed on the IDW-direction -- they'll find a way to incorporate PotP I'm sure, but not necessarily how HasBrah may do so with the text on their toy packaging.

Yeah, IDW isn't beholden to how Hasbro envisions the gimmicks -- for instance, while the Titans Return toyline specifically had the relationship between headmaster and body be like it was in The Rebirth; the IDW Titans Return comic treated it like Japan does (a lifeless body controlled by a smaller Transformer who turns into a head).

Correct me if I am wrong...but I think the only two Transformers that IDW incorporated the TR gimmick to really were Sentinel Prime, and Alpha Trion? So...poor A3 gets beheaded, his new head (Sovereign) is supposedly a representation of Primus himself. After TR A3 has been absent from the comics...what happened with him? Now Alpha Tion is going to get shoved inside Landmine, like some sort of Transformers Turducken.

Alpha Trion got beheaded and his head replaced with Sovereign (who in IDW is not an avatar of Primus or the like, simply another follower of Onyx Prime -- and eventually Blackrock), but Sovereign gets detached by Soundwave and at the end of the story Alpha Trion got his real head put back on his body. He's still on Autobot City (Metrotitan) on Earth with Optimus' crew but largely keeps to himself.
Oh, and Sentinel died.

Well yeah I knew that...
It still seems plausible to me that TAAO issues 5-8 were pretty much what a more fleshed out Titans Return series should have been, if not for Revolution messing up the time tables.
Still as we all know IDW doesn't do things according to the Hasbro toys, there will have to be some story tie-in at some point, as loose and different as it may be.

They primarily collect Legion Class figures.
Personally, I like the scale of CW/POTP Combiners with kre-o figurines. I so want the Class of 84/85 SDCC Kre-o sets...

For scaling and display, I get why others may prefer the Legion class or similar. With a Supreme class figure like Armada Unicron, he looks best towering over Titan Masters, rather than Deluxes and Leaders....I'm sure I can think of something for my head-canon to justify his size to go with PotP Leader Rodimus Unicronus!

Possible First Look at Transformers Power of the Primes Waverider Decoy Suit Mold
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
While almost all of the 2018 Power of the Primes line was leaked earlier this year, there can always be surprises still in store for us fans. Like a new Prime Master decoy suit, Waverider. The images of the decoy suit that might be added to LG EX' Grand Maximus release (seen below) does not match up perfectly with any decoy suit already revealed. Instead it looks like a retool of Cloudbusrt and bears resemblance to Waverider (Diver) so this might be our first look at an upcoming toy that wasn't even leaked. You will be the judge. Below is a quote from fellow Seibertronian JelZe GoldRabbit who describes what we might be seeing.
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:The Pretender Shell is indeed an early release of a PotP toy, but one we never saw announced or even leaked. The detailing points towards the shell belonging to Waverider aka Diver:

However the arms show the future Waverider toy will be a retool of Cloudburst:

Im not a huge fan of how hasbros taking on the pretenders for potp. I liked the old way funpub started with the shell becoming the robot. Granted that was a total fail for the autobot human characters. So this scale makes sense. But I cant help feel like this scale will cheat us of ever getting real figures of these characters. These things feel more like kids meal toys than something that should be sold as part of a main line. Same thing with the titan masters that didn't get actual bodies.
