I tried again, and sure enough I had one of the pegs on each forearm in the wrong spot once I folded the arms into the sides. I fixed it and that made the torso surprisingly stable. So thank you for that. I don't know how I missed it. Maybe because I was biased against Volcanicus from the start. They should have been done like Predaking was, all 5 Dinos Voyager sized. Besides, I still don't like how Volcanicus looks, his shoulders are too wide and his waist is too small. The Dinobots look better with Sky Lynx.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Mine is floppy and the shoulders can't support the weight of the arms. I use Sky Lynx with the Dinobots.
Hey, I like how he looks and functions as a torso. So nyeh
Maybe.. Which would certainly suck.
I admit that I have experienced a bit of forward wobble in the waist at times, but not any more than I've had with Silverbolt or Motormaster.
As for the shoulders.. Are you absolutely sure you've got Grimlock's forearms actually lined up with and slotted onto the tabs? It can be kinda fiddly to get them lined up right (and some extra slots on his forearms that are there for a different reason can mislead you, which doesn't exactly help), but when you do they should stay on fairly tight. It's also vital to make sure that you connect the shoulders to the halves of Grimlock's T. rex torso. That does a lot to help anchor things.

I wouldn't think so, since that's not Megatron's Transmetal 2 form, but what was conceived as his Transmetal 3 form. At the end of season 3, Megatron was a red dragon like the BotCon figure is. And Primal had the regular gold and purple version of the TOTP figure. Right? Or am I forgetting something?Sabrblade wrote:I wouldn't think so, since that's not Megatron's Transmetal 2 form, but what was conceived as his Transmetal 3 form. That is, if they had assumed these ultimate forms either instead of or after their Beast Machines ones.
The latter. Reread my post very carefully.Rodimus Prime wrote:At the end of season 3, Megatron was a red dragon like the BotCon figure is. Are we talking about 2 different characters/figures? I'm talking about the BotCon repaint of RID Megatron. That's a red dragon, isn't it?Sabrblade wrote:That's not Dragon Megatron.Rodimus Prime wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The latter. This is Transmetal 2 Megatron. The Botcon figure is not supposed to represent Megatron's Transmetal 2 form. Instead, it is a hypothetical Transmetal 3 Megatron that was supposed to be an exclusive to the cancelled OTFCC 2005.Rodimus Prime wrote:Are we talking about 2 different characters/figures? That's all sabrblade had to say, instead of doing this stupid dance around it.Autobot N wrote:This is Transmetal 2 Megatron. I DID say that! In the very first post I made in response to your original question!Rodimus Prime wrote:That's all sabrblade had to say, instead of doing this stupid dance around it.Autobot N wrote:This is Transmetal 2 Megatron. I thought the BotCon figure was an homage to the dragon from the end of season 3.

Also got inferno after seeing so many pics of him looking great; I think its the really wide feet, they make him look way more proportionate

Not gonna lie, I'm turning more and more green seeing how much everyone is enjoying Primal. I'm normally pretty lucky with these things, so I guess it's my turn to be left out in the cold.

Apparently he will be double-packed in wave 4 and also be in wave 3, which means that everyone should be able to find one if stores keep stocking the leader class figures

I meant the SDCC one. I keep checking the product page, hoping against hope. It just looks so amazing.

Oh, I have. 2019 is a long time to wait when your whole MO is reviewing new toys. Total first world problem, I know. But one that is frustrating me to no end the last few days.
