Okay guys, for those still trying to come up with the right team of limbs to use for Inferno's combiner form, the most perfect roster for his team was pointed out to me just yesterday.

Now, this idea may require either some reshuffling or some double-dipping of certain CW limbs, but I think it's worth it because this idea just feels so good, especially for any fans of the Marvel G1 comics.

The limbs for Inferno in this idea are: Jazz, Prowl, Sunstreaker, and Wheeljack.

Why them? Because Inferno, Jazz, Prowl, Sunstreaker, and Wheeljack are the five surviving members of the Magnificent Six!

And if one wanted to, one could repurpose the Legends class Groove as a new motorcycle form of the sixth member, Stampede.

Sorry, not giving my money to scalpers. It's sad that eBay is having a 20% off coupon code today (for purchases $50 and up), and that wont even get me near retail price for any PotP I still need to get.

It really wouldn't. Especially in non English speaking countries. In fact even in the United States, it's only a very small vocal minority that has issue with it. We should be up in arms over it, as we shouldn't let politics mix in with Toys. So have an issue with the word or not, it shouldn't be there.

That magnificent six/five idea is pretty neat (which of them is going to get it I wonder...the five named characters or the other guy ;-)

Still holding out on some other G1 combiners besides Jazz, too.... Sideswipe, Red Alert, Ratchet (main line release), Hoist, Stepper repaint... Really those first few would make a fantastic rescue vehicle gestalt with Inferno. (Besides simply being a great stand in for G2 Defensor and/or Guard City.)

I agree with this so much. I am so sick and tired of politics at this point. Especially when it invades toys and comics. I read comics and watch shows to avoid politics. I think they took the right course of action by firing the guy responsible and editing the figure so there's not much to really do at this point. I think they did correct their mistake so as long as they don't do it again we are good.

I was just thinking about that with Inferno. He would add a splash of color to Defensor. I think sometimes the problem with fire and rescue figures is they have too much white for most people. Doesn't bother me but where I live most rescue vehicles are bright red.

Oh I agree. I don't want any hidden messages in my toys whether it be MAGA or PRIDE or whatever... The point is, had this not been revealed online, it is so tiny on the toy, I never would have noticed it, especially in a fictional language. Just because I have something that I don't even know exists, that doesn't automatically mean I support it. I mean, do I have to go over all my TF toys with a magnifying glass to make sure their aren't any hidden symbols on them? I have no time for that, and it doesn't determine who I am. Just as an example. United States Currency will often have printed on it the phrase "In God We Trust", (much more noticeable, and in an actual language btw...) so does that mean that if an atheist carries currency, that automatically negates their beliefs? I wouldn't think so. They may not like it, and honestly, I myself can get around 99% of the time now without legal tender, but some places will not accept debit/credit cards so you have to have it on occasion.

Basically all I'm saying is. If you are upset, of course you have the right to feel as you do. Hasbro is making the changes as needed. However, if someone is unaffected, not because they are happy, or support the phrase, but do to it not really effecting their enjoyment of something they really cant see or notice, those people shouldn't be looked down upon, or forced to shell out more money.

I'm sorry if this topic keeps coming up. I really want to talk about how much I enjoy this line, and am becoming ever more frustrated every day that I come up with nothing at a local store.

Seriously, if someone can TODAY show me where I can get Sludge & Snarl for under $18 (each) shipped, or wave 2 Prime Masters for under $12 (together) shipped. I'd be happy for the links. Where I am drawing a hard line is paying more than retail prices for these toys that should have a wide release.

Agreed about Hasbro taking the right steps to remedy the issue. Bravo there. Nailed it.

AND I hope we can ALL come together to help each other out to locate toys without scalping. It's like a desert out there on the shelves. So difficult to find anything current. I'd love to see more of us requesting help, and providing it (like in our signatures, etc.)

Back to toys... I got a hold of Inferno, and though the Chug version DOES have his accurate chest and clear windows/lights (and I'd note is significantly beefier/heavier)... I have to say the new toy looks fantastic in person. Red is brilliant. Gestalt chest really gives the figure a different look. And the paint apps on the head left a G1 friend of mine swearing up and down that it was a different sculpt. We put the two together and eventually I got him convinced it was just details coming out due to the paint. (ha)

But have to say even though the guy is a random torso figure and questionably redundant to Chug collectors, I do HIGHLY recommend the guy. He looks amazing.

Same day got Hungurr and Elita-1. Like Hungurr a lot, but wish he had dragon knees. Maybe a 3p will help us out there?

As for Elita, her proportions do bother me a little. BUT it helped the figure immensely popping off the giant arm guards. (You can use screws to remove the tab, or simply pop off the flap and leave the tab hanging. Goes back on just as easy. Makes the forearm look like a normal girl arm. Can't recommend doing this more.

The lack of enough combiner limbs does make me wonder, did Hasbro ever intend to release any more combiners in this part of the Prime Wars trilogy? After all, there is only ONE ACTUAL G1 combiner team here in this line, while all the others in this line have nothing to do with combining in most of their history. It makes me think Hasbro wanted to release Abominous as a late wave Combiner Wars box set. It would make sense, though it would need all new molding, so maybe that's why they didn't do it back then, and then Hasbro just decided to save money, release every figure in this final part of the line as combiner parts.

Transformers Power of the Primes Wave 3 Terrorcons have now been listed online. Previously we did see them mentioned in some combiner instructions. We have provided images below so you can see Blot, Sinertwin and Cutthroat in all their Deluxe class glory. A quick thank you to unicron1200 for finding them listed on Amazon.com.

Please keep in mind that the current listings for these figures are currently through a 3rd party seller and are being sold for much more that they would normally cost. They should be available for retail price as they become available. The Amazon listing says will be in stock on June 11 so they are not technically available just yet so keep an eye out. Chances are these will show up other places in the future.

Does Sinnertwin have knees though? His beast mode is four-legged,so they wouldn't really be knees, would they? Even so, only his front legs have any articulation. His hind legs are fixed pieces, just like his G1 toy.
