Continuing live from San Diego Comic Con, we have new images of the upcoming Power of the Primes figures as well as the exclusives based on those figures. On display prominently is the Throne of the Primes set which includes a Season 1 colored Optimal Optimus complete with a crown accessory, the Scepter of Sparks, and the final 4 Prime Masters, completing the 13 Primes. Also on display are the Amazon exclusives that have played host to some fun games of Pre-orders this past week, including Blastoff, Repugnus, and Punch/Counterpunch!

Also included are some shots of wave 3 and 4 Power of the Primes retail figures, including terrorcons, Nova Star, and Predaking.

You know, between the latest reveals for the "War for Cybertron: SIEGE" series and these exclusives for the end of the "Power of the Primes" series coming soon, I'm getting that feeling again. That "It's GREAT to be a Transformers fan" feeling! Last time I felt like this, we were in the peak of "Titans Return." Things took a little bit of a dip with Power of the Primes at first, but I feel like we're back on track now.

SDCC 2018 started yesterday and we have loads of images of the Transformers display. We have made galleries for all the different lines on display. POTP Starscream arrived today and, well. . . It’s something. I’d say he’s worth the $9 though. The robot mode is at least ok and the combiner torso is actually really cool. The jet mode, however, may be the single lowest effort thing I’ve seen from Transformers. Like, the Cyberverse stuff puts this to shame. But like I said, for $9 he’ll be a cool torso if we get some seeker limbs. And he does scale nicely with TR Megatron (who ironically has a much better jet mode).

Long story short:
“Ha! I was right all along. It was a Gobstopper, and it is Tutti-Frutti!”

I'm not 100% sure but I think there might be some mechanism built in to let the two insignia fold away from sight in each robot mode.

You guys realize the symbols on P/CP are on little doors that flip over to hide them, right.

Although G1 Counterpunch did have his rub symbol on a door as well so maybe that's more authentic that way.

While there is a lot of excitement for what is coming after Transformers Power of the Primes, some fans are still in need of the wave 2 deluxes. Hasbro had said that they would rectify the situation and not only did those appear on Hasbro Toy Shop, but the wave 2 toys are reappearing at brick and mortar retail as well. The entire wave was found by Scotty P in a North Carolina Walmart.

This wave includes Blackwing, Snarl, Sludge, Moonracer and Rippersnapper.

I was just at my local Walmart looking for Cutthroat and Blot, as they got wave 3 Deluxes a few weeks ago but that half of the wave that I actually want sold out before I found that out. I asked someone working there when they were getting more Deluxes in stock, and they said they would be getting more in on the 24th.

So now after reading this, I'm paranoid that knowing my luck, they'll get wave 2 Deluxes I don't need in instead, great. :BANG_HEAD:

Meanwhile my local Walmart is overflowing with Hun-Gurrr and Elita-1, they just stuck five more unopened cases on the top shelf overflow space along with the six cases worth of figure still waiting to be sold. Also sitting on five cases worth of SS Voyagers wave 1 (three opened, two not). Not likely I'll be seeing Inferno any time soon.

Right now the only thing from wave 2 that I really want is the Prime Masters. At this rate I'll have all of the exclusive PMs before the retail versions.
