Can anyone digi-color him into Guiltor?
Plenty of key examples here.SkyWarpsGhost wrote:It's kinda becoming a running joke with Hasbros press shots that they are 90% of the time mis-transformed. Whoever is in charge of taking pics needs a good talking to lol

Damn it, I was going to say something like that! I mean god forbid a toy for kids looks like *gasp* a TOY for KIDS!
Even my 6 year old soon says it looks like its from the rescue bot line and when I say kiddy I mean play school fisher price kiddy and there are tons of people on this topic saying this toy sucks and looks kiddy so go troll someone else.

All that said, I suppose we should ALL watch the show... see what they do with the aesthetics and characters, then see if we want to buy the matching toys. Eh?

What about the shift from organic-looking beasts to Transmetals and Fuzors, and from those to Transmetal 2's, in Beast Wars? This is highly evocative of that very kind of shift. You could even call these "Transmetal 2 vehicles" (only with a lack of chrome).gothsaurus wrote:I think my biggest problem is the shift MIDWAY through a toy line.. and tv show. (ie. Tranformers Prime)
It IS a different toyline. Transformers: Prime Beast Hunters will be the third (fourth if you include the Dark Energon line) toyline under the Prime franchise banner. TF: Prime is a rare case in that it's had more than one consecutive toyline running under its label.gothsaurus wrote:Comparing the first edition toys with these, there's a big design change. It looks like a different toy line. I think that's a shame. I wish Hasbro could hold the course to the end of a show or toy line.

As far as accessories go, nothing is worse than MechTechs [that don't lock].
I disagree big goofy looking weapons that shoot stupid projectiles are IMO. That's the type of weapons that come with crappy 4" Spider-Man figures or gi joe movie figures. But everyone likes what they like and I like my figures a little more serious than kiddy.
Okay. That's your opinion, but almost every Transformers line has included these "kiddy" firing projectiles up until DOTM, so this is nothing new. Many of us, myself included, have longed the return of firing projectiles. Beast Hunters is bringing me what I want with that.
I have to agree. I'd much rather have firing projectiles than...the mechtech stuff. I mean, the mechtech idea COULD have been done really well, but it wasn't. I feel it wouldn't get better if it had continued, so better to just get rid of it. Also, projectiles are far more amusing than they should be...
Hotrodimust wrote:I don't want either but I think big flying disc are worse than mech tech.
At least some mech tech weapons looked like normal weapons and that's all I want.
