Funny you should mention that. His official Hasbro product description refers to him as an "Aerialbot", and back when the Aligned media first came out, it was established that, in this continuity, the terms "Seeker" and "Aerialbot" referred to pretty much any flying Decepticon/Autobot with a jet-based altmode, with the Exodus novel going even further to clarify that the Seekers existed on Cybertron as a prewar group who sided with the Decepticons when the factions rose up, and that any Seekers who defected to the Autobots were rechristened as "Aerialbots" (minus Jetfire, the book specifically pointed out that he still personally considered himself a "Seeker", just an Autobot one, even though he was still officially grouped with the Aerialbots). Therefore, one could say that Stormshot, by extensive Aligned media logic and reasoning, could be perceived as a Seeker.Black Hat wrote:Huh. Stormshot would probably make a better Seeker than the actual RID "Seeker" mold.

I know it wouldn't have been extremely accurate, but goddamn would I have loved that option on the CW Aerialbot molds.

Maybe it's really a fake beard? You know, robots in disguise and all that.

It's not paint; it's new molding.

And I believe it's patterned after traditional mempo, or samurai battle masks. Or at the very least the ninjas from Mortal Kombat

For example shouldn't there be a Sandy deco Windblade & Optimus ?
Also I take it that white "Red Alert" deco for Sideswipe a non-show thing ? as I could kind of see him trying out an emergency deco to try to impress Strongarm.
