Yes it is irritating that Legends "Generations" toy don't come with Partners any more - I can deal with it so long as Takara remember to put them in Future Campaign releases as they sometimes do, otherwise we could really do with another Minicon giftset like we used to get only this time with "Targetmasters".

I suppose some people were pretty please they at least had the option to get the right gun for Strongarm via a later Japanese Optimus toy - that was better than not having it at all I guess.

I always likes how each MOTU 200X toy of Man at Arms had a different mode of his gauntlet weapon allowing you to swap them around and expand your play options a lot - I appreciated that - I wonder if they might ever think to do something similar with Transformers - but then they only "Sometimes" have transformable weapons in the Media and usually not multiple modes (though I guess Optimus in Prime & Movie Optimus had them).

Is there anything like that in RID's TV show that is missing from the available weapons that come with the toys that people would like to see. ?

I don't know if this is relevant or not....but they did use the Optimus legion legends mold 3 TIMES! & obviously Huffer suffered....because the Roller mold wasn't packaged with him.

As for what's missing from the available toys that come with the figures! not something that's really missing....more something that really needs to change...are those Minicon Deployers...because where the minicons are stored on the figures....are not cartoon accurate(btw I'm not talking about the actual deployer part! just that there's no way to store the minicons on the figures that's cartoon accurate! & they could've added that).

I wouldn't normally mention this here but since I expect there is plenty of people who wish Grimlock in particular was a nice mould and also bigger I offer you this Chinese product to view :

http://actionfigurechecklist.com/Images ... iecast.jpg

Voyager Scale Bumblebee, Grimlock & Strongarm.
That Bumblebee is worth having just for the sword !
I wonder if others will follow.

-----

Anyway back on topic, I also feel a sense of disappointment that the Minicons lack any significant paint perhaps if they'd sold them in 2 pack I might be more forgiving. But when the packet shows the art of what they are "Supposed" to look like it pushes my fur the wrong way a bit. Oh well I do Like painting things so perhaps I should see it as an opportunity not a disadvantage.

Incidentally they contain metal parts and cost $14.99 each+Postage.
I started a thread for them in the correct place :

I thought I saw a listing for the 1st two from the Deployer line "as is" in the Adventures line.

Perhaps one way to make the figures is to have manually Transforming ones made by kabaya like they have in the past made their own things - sometimes new moulds like some of the Miniature Transforming toys they made of characters like Optimus/Convoy sometime pretty much the same (Like the white Statsaber they did).

So what do you folks think RID-2015 brand awareness is like with the kids?

Both as a TV show and a toyline - also is it higher or lower than Transfomers Prime ?

I'm still not sure if the line is a success or not.

Also is the line doing differently in different places (remember how disliked Animated was in Australia for example) how is it playing out internationally.

I get the impression that Transformers seems to be getting more popular in South America - but I don't know if that is just because it's being pushed there over other things or if that is genuinely the case.

Sometimes the TV show having a good slot can make all the difference.

I'd be very interested to know what people think about that as to my UK view RID seems to barely register on the radar so I was just curious how it was doing else where - if only to try to get a feel for if it will have a future at all much into 2016.

I've heard mixed reports on how well the series has done. CN is renewing it for a season 2 so it must've made them enough money. They toys are hard to judge since the price might have been a bigger factor than lack of interest.

Devastator was designed to have more articulation, but had some of it taken out for the Hasbro release due to the parts count. He was a special case. The Micron Shooter Sets aren't in the same boat.

Not only that but the video I provided show that this is the very same mold as the one used by hasbro. The video confirms that there is no added articulation.

Video Review for Transformers Robots in Disguise Titan Changers Optimus Prime

Postby william-james88 » Tue Sep 08, 2015 9:03 pm

Motto: "'till All Are One"
Everyone remember the Titan Changer line of Robots in Disguise? We saw it as far back as May but only now are they being accessible to North America through Amazon. Chuck grabbed one and got to review it:

chuckdawg1999 wrote:While many people dismiss the Titan figure line as glorified shampoo bottles, the sales of the various figures show their popularity. Expanding upon the 6" and 12" assortments, Hasbro has decided to add a simple transformation to the figures creating Titan Changers. The quality of plastic on Optimus Prime is nice with a metallic, marbleized finish. Transformation is simple but fun, resulting in truck mode that can roll easily. Obviously most adult collectors will pass on this line but for younger fans, or those looking to keep their hands busy, Optimus Prime is a fun figure.

The vehicle mode is much more complete than I expected it to be.
Might look OK with a little more paint it isn't what I want from the brand overall but as an improvement to normal non-transforming Titans it's a good thing.

you know what, I like these simplified toys. I mean, if shelf space is on the line they wont edge anything out but I like them for what they are.
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.

I like how they bring brand awareness to all ages. And plus, I dont know if it is any indication, but the aoe Deluxe figures shelfwarmed way longer than any of the aoe titans.

Just on a side note, I think the reason why they call them "warrior" instead of "deluxe" is because in the dictionary, it says deluxe means "of fine quality, luxurious." The antonyms for "deluxe" are "cheap, basic." "Cheap" and "basic" are what they are called aren't they? I can just imagine them saying "f*** it we'll call em warriors."

My experience is the opposite. They clogged shelves with one steps and deluxes simply could not stay. Of course I assume that the actually got them. Seriously, my Walmart seems to just have a big empty space where the generations and RID warriors are supposed to go. I see warriors every now and then but they are hardly getting restock and generations not at all.
