Honestly, I feel like I really can't tell what is or isn't different between the two versions just by looking at them separately. If someone could get their hands on both in person and post comparison photos of the two side-by-side, that'd be marvelous.ScottyP wrote:So Combiner Force vs Clash of the Transformers Warrior Starscream - need some help because I don't trust my eyes completely on this. It seems the CotTF version uses the same paint on the guns, chest vents, and outside/"helmet" part of the head, which has a hint of bronze in it. The CF version uses the same barely bronze paint on the guns, but goes for a metallic black on the chest vents and head.
Can anyone else confirm that, or are my eyes going bonkers on me?

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Yeah, that isn't the Warrior toy, that's the Activator toy.Cobotron wrote:I'm not sure that's the Warrior toy. I think that may be whatever class the others like Bee and Strongarm are in with the minivans that activate a play feature. Can't remember what they're called.
Edit:minivan? Thanks auto correct!

Yeah that's what I need to do with mine. Hoping that some brighter lighting and a camera lens will help me out, just gotta find the time for it.Sabrblade wrote:Honestly, I feel like I really can't tell what is or isn't different between the two versions just by looking at them separately. Not quite. This figure is a mix of his design from War for Cybertron/Fall of Cybertron with his Prime design since they're the same guy. The G1 elements come from the Cybertron design having them, not a direct attempt to make this design more G1.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Well Quillfire's head doesn't really seem like one that can be easily retooled since it was not attached with the stranded head ball joint peg most heads are but with those pins in the side holding his neck.
Not sure about Bisk since I don't own him but his pictures look like he has the standard head engineering.

Alright thank you Will that means that Bisk is more likely to get a new head for Thermidor.
The kind of joint that connects her head to her body shouldn't matter since the head itself is still a separate piece from the body. Certain attachment joints haven't stopped Hasbro from retooling parts (heads or otherwise) on other toys in the past. They just got lazy with Scatterspike or didn't have the budget to give her a new head.Deadput wrote:Sabrblade wrote:But will it have a new head like Paralon, or will it be just another redeco like Scatterspike?
