The section highlighted in red could be a hinge that allows the windows to fold down around the door (the part highlighted in green). If that is the case the wings are on the underside of the arm and actually missing then. It would be pretty unfortunate if this is correct.

It looks like the side door windows do fold away onto the insides of the forearms for robot mode, but the "collar wings" for robot mode are still present with fake kibble side mirrors. Take a look at the newer close-up pictures:

Also Barricade will make a really nice sub for MPM Barry. Shame he doesn't come with his wheel flail but oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

These are a very pleasant surprise. I was starting to worry that the Studio Series might have peaked, but now with Ironhide and these new figures here I feel much more secure about the longevity of this line. That WWII Bee reminds me of the HftD Breacher/GDO Brawl toy. Which has been a favorite mold of mine for a long time. Nice to see a deluxe Barricade, since I can’t afford to get into the movie MPs. I was hoping for a new Dreadbot mold, or at least a retool, but this is fine. The gold is an odd choice, but it doesn’t look bad. I’m really excited for this new Sideswipe. HftD Sidearm Sideswipe is still a great figure. However having a new mold with both his blades and his gun is awesome news.

Curious to find out what the next voyagers and leaders are going to be. I’m also holding out hope that we might get a Dino at some point now.

Yeah. I mean, I actually quite like the KSI Sentry and Shadow Raider versions of the Stinger and Lockdown molds but it did feel like perhaps they were running out of steam. But coming back with much desired fan favourites like Barricade and Sideswipe is amazing and to produce a new WWII Bumblebee from basically scratch feels like an extra level of awesome that's very encouraging.

Amazing how none of these 4 were on our radar at all, and here we were expecting a Jetfire or a Bonecrusher or something else.

I am still so hyped for World War Bee. That is such an awesome thing. And As a Sideswipe man, I am very excited

That Crowbar recolor into Crankcase is just cheap and those golden parts are so darn ugly. Better to get the original DotM version or TLK Berserker. 
But WWII Bee I wanted to happen so badly but didn't think they would ever make him. That's a total must-have to me. And now WWII Hot Rod is possible, too

I'd almost rather he came with a tiny Frenzy figure since there's probably no other way we'd get him in this line. Maybe we need a box set of Frenzy, Scorponok, Ravage, Laserbeak, and Steeljaw.

Color me impressed, these are fine looking figures, I'm a huge fan of the WWII Bumblebee, the Sideswipe figure looks stunning and elegant, Barricade looks alright (I prefer the TLK design over the Movie one design.), the Crowbar repaint is fine but it is a bit of a waste as we could've gotten a Crankcase figure instead. Now my one big gripe is the fact that the TLK Bumblebee mold is still being repainted and released in the Studio Series line, I've lost track on how many times that mold has been repainted in the Studio Series line.

So, it IS Crankcase. That's disappointing. Quite a lazy offering. At LEAST they could have retooled the head. Right now, I might try and track down the old Dark of the Moon deluxe class figure instead for my "Studio Series" collection. I hope Hatchet turns out better, but I sincerely doubt he'll be anything but another recolor of Crowbar.

Well that is depressing about "Crankcase", wish he had some retooling done to him to make him at least partially different to Crowbar.

From what i can see on the Barricade's chest on that image is that those two bumper sections I had wondered earlier about if they tilt to look more accurate do seem to appear slightly tilted there which is nice. Really impressed with how he manages to squeeze so much extra MPM-like accuracy into a Deluxe figure. I think he's my most wanted from this lot with Sideswipe and WWII Bee a close joint second. I kinda wish my current 70's Camaro Bee had the rust but I'll only get that one if it's in clearance. I like the colour scheme on Crankcase and I haven't got Crowbar yet so I may get one of them but yeah he's the main disappointing one he doesn't really look like who they say he is. Anyways good night.

YES!!! Happy to see Barricade is getting SS treatment. The first movie is hands down my fave so hopefully Bonecrusher and a Jet Mode Megatron is on the way too. Don't get me wrong, ROTF Megs is my favorite movie mode, but for nostalgia sake I would love to see what the SS crew could do with his 2007 version. Oh...and Galvatron NEEDS a SS version too

So... hasblow took the worst selling figure of tlk and rereleased it as the worst selling figure from the studio series, only to release it yet again is even worse colors? They can **** right off

Guess the dreads can all be together on one shelf at the stores though: beserker next to left over crowbars, next to left over crankcases, because **** this mold

All the other stuff looks great though, shame they'll be buried under the garbage dreads

Okay, so Sideswipe is 100% getting purchased now. He looks better with every picture, and he has LIGHT PIPING. Still can't really tell how/where his swords are attached, but I guess I'll find out when I get him.

WW11 Bee still looks great, and is still getting bought to serve as Centurion.

Barricade...his face looks more defined in this picture, which I guess is good, and the rest of him still looks awesome, but ehhh...I think I'll have to see him in person at this point.

Crankcase and Rusty Bee are rubbish though, get them out of here.

We are now up to 9 Studio Series Bees, ladies and gentlemen, 10 if you count the Lucky Draw damaged/rusted Bee that seems virtually the same as this new rusted Bee...

For sure you will get many dreads on the shelves, afterall Crowbar himself is being reteleased in wave 3

WWII Bee is looking great, I'm glad they made a new head sculpt for this version. I'll be buying him on sight.

As much as I love SS Bee (After painting him he may actually have surpassed MPM Bee for the title of my favorite movie Bumblebee figure, and therefore favorite Transformer figure), I don't think I need the new version. He is missing a lot of paint details in robot mode, but from what I can tell I think they'd be easier to paint than the rust in vehicle mode, so there's that.

But, uh. . . Crankcase? Really? I mean, I know Berserker didn't sell well, but they could of at least used his head sculpt for this figure. Not too sure what the idea was on this one.

Despite Crankcase though, these new reveals are awesome and it makes me even more pumped for the future of SS! I just hope we get a concept Camaro MV1/ROTF/DOTM Bumblebee from the line somewhere down the road.

Thanks to Hasbro Pulse on Instagram, we have official images for the new Studio Series reveals seen last night at Fan Expo Canada. These reveals appear to be the big thing Hasbro advertised earlier this month and again earlier this week, and the reveals have not disappointed.

These official images are for the 5 deluxe class figures revealed, which include new mold Barricade from Transformers (2007) and appears to use transformation cues from his Masterpiece form; new mold Sideswipe based on his convertible Dark of the Moon form; a new mold World War 2 Bumblebee, seen for all of about 15 to 20 seconds in The Last Knight, and gives us hope of seeing more The Last Knight toys and maybe even a World War 2 Hot Rod to partner up with him; a repaint of Crowbar into Crankcase, which doesn't really work too well since Crankcase looks more like The Last Knight's Berserker; and another repaint of the wave 1 Bumblebee figure, officially called "Clunker Bumblebee" as he appears to mimmick the deco seen from the beginning of Transformers (2007), and it's also fitting he and Barricade are revealed together.

I love WWII Bee, Sideswipe, and Barricade. Don't need Clunkerbee unless he is on clearance. And maybe I can complete Crankcase with a simple face swap. Idk because I just bought ANOTHER Berserker just to make him Crankcase. Can someone ask Hasbro why the head is wrong?

Gotta say, Barricade, WW2 Bumblebee and Sideswipe look pretty fantastic, but I can't help but wonder why they've chosen these certain characters to make into ss figures. I'm still desperately looking forward to future figures like DotM Shockwave, Soundwave, Sentinel Prime, and others that I feel like should have been prioritized far before characters like WW2 Bumblebee who had such minimal and insignificant screen time.

You really gotta wonder why Hasbro didn't just repaint Berserker into Crankase, when they look exactly the same. I mean they both use the exact same model and the figure scaless perfectly with Crowbar too, so....

Yeah but fans really wanted that rusty bee after seeing it be only 300 made at first. So now they can get it too. Dont know if it being less exclusive makes it less cool now.

Anyways, some things I wanted to point out for fun

- sideswipe’s weapons store as exhaust pipes
- swords incorporate into the alt-mode the like the original DOTM toy but there's an additional blade that ends up positioned flat under the car to recreate the paired, angled blade look.
- WWII Bee is based off a Humber Light Reconnaissance Car
