Immortal Starscream wrote:well, I wont comment on the discourse about G1 in the SS line, I will say I feel like when they said Studio series reveals, then said they had 14 figures to reveal, that I was expecting something very different. over all I am ok with it though, except one teeeeeeeny part.
Hasbro
STOP WITH THE TARGET EXCLUSIVES
or at least get them to fix their crap so non scalpers can get your stuff

I'm not necessarily a geewunner but it's nice to see the 86 movie get some love in the Studio Series line.
ZeroWolf wrote:I think actually just reviving the line at the best time would be better...plus I don't believe that excuse, being an ardent fan of the theory that these only exist in ss because Kingdom was doing beast wars.
His mold was No. 14 in the Diaclone line, and he was numbered 14 in the 1984 G1 toy catalog.Sentinel_Primal wrote:Grimlock looks better than I feared. Also, what was the comment that was made about Jazz having a connection to 14 in relation to??

Doesn't look like it based on the transformation and video review by PrimevsPrime or TonTon, but I could be wrong
With additional paint apps, though.EvasionModeBumblebee wrote:I deleted that part of my comment before I saw your reply, D-Max, since I figured that the Devy boxset was technically a reveal. It’s just a rerelease of existing figures though,

Nope. A little door/panel opens up to reveal it in vehicle mode instead.Mechastrike wrote:does Scourge head pop out when in alt-mode?

And there you have it! The rest of Studio Series Wave 1 revealed, which includes some of the most iconic Autobots and fearsome Decepticons to ever grace the silver screen! We DARE you to not be excited (wink wink). Available for pre-order starting now at most major retailers or in stores starting February 2021.

I’m of course disappointed (though I can’t say I expected much different), but I do have a silver lining. I went over on my Transformers budget for this year, and I’m still missing Topspin, Skipjack, and Overload. With the next wave being a total skip for me, I’ll have no problems picking those guys up. Figures like Off-road Bumblebee and ROTF Soundwave that I wanted to get but didn’t after finding Jetfire are now back on the table!

PrimevsPrime didnt even know how Hoists rear wings should be angled so I wouldn't go by reviews alone at this point.
