Anyone else think Bumblebee would fit way better as the first Transformers live action movie?
You can have the TF's mutate into Bionicle slushpuppies in a reboot.

Technically it can be seen as a reboot of sorts given the actual tone of the film (even if chronologically, it's still part of the same timeline as the others).

I agree a bit and disagree strongly at the same time. On one hand, sure it would have been better for all the classic fans. But on the other hand we would have missed out greatly on the bold designs and engineering feats that are the Bayformers of the first 5 movies.

So as it is now, we get the best of both worlds.

Wheeljack looks surprisingly good, I was not expecting to like the alt mode on him. Gives me some faith that the other cybertron designs will get decent toys

I'm all for a design that's more than simply folding the top of the vehicle into a shell/cape that hangs on the back. This looks pretty good, and probably the best robot mode matched with that alt mode.

Thanks. That's very strange since BBTS and TFSource already have those pre-orders up. Don't want to pre-order from them because shipping and import taxes make it extra expensive unless I have several other items in the shipment which I don't at this point.

Thanks. He’s apparently available in that link from a third party seller by the name of “Home Product Hustlers” for $32. Super trustworthy name there.

Hopefully Amazon gets some in themselves at some point for retail price.

When and where? There's still no official orders up on Pulse, Amazon, etc., and if there was any sort of announcement, literally no one covered it in any capacity. If it did actually happen, that'd be even less of a "reveal" than when Hasbro finally put Kingdom Wave 4 up.

An interesting note: The premium finish SS VW Bumblebee reportedly has retooled tabs that allow alt mode to tab in much better. I'm curious if we'll see any other fixes in future premium releases, like Jetfire's fragile spine piece.

So the barest minimum possible announcement through an avenue where I at least would legit never see it/hear about it without someone else bringing it to my attention, and right on the tail end/in the middle of Pulsecon-adjacent reveals so it would instantly be overshadowed by Legacy, got it. No wonder no one knew it happpened, it was somehow a worse reveal than Kingdom Wave 4.

And it still didn't lead to official ordering methods being put up by Hasbro to boot.

The blaster thing is dumb because now that he is revealed they could at least have all the other sites like BBTS and EE show him in the Legacy wave as the other voyager. Like that those who want to preorder him, to make sure they get him if wave 5 is skipped by their stores, know that there are indeed preorders for him.

I think you are answering your own question. These days, they tie reveals with preorders. Since they have no preorders for Sideswipe, they didn't do much in terms of a reveal. Reveals of toys we have already seen don't really matter if there is no order to go with it so does it really matter if Hasbro aknowledges a toy's existence? There havent been reveals for any of the Cyberverse stuff and it doesn't seem to trouble that many people.

I have a feeling that the reason that no one cares about lack of reveals for Cyberverse, is that no one (sadly) cares about Cyberverse. A lof fans have preconceived notions about the line and as such, don't give it the time of day.

A while ago we heard that B-127 was getting repacked at some point for Studio Series - turns out it's not a straight repack. Has a darker yellow color, uses the unmasked head sculpt from Offroad Bee, and stands better than the original release
