"Small Deluxe" like most of the other Mini Cars, his parts count and transformation steps far exceeds any Core.

Conversely, I wonder what people's reception to a DLX Wheelie would be? Given that these "minbots" are still very "core" in size but can pack a wallop in articulation and to some degree sculpt quality. And while I like Core Wheelie for what it is and the price point, I can't help but think how much better a DLX version could be in terms of articulation and sculpt. Not saying I definitely want it to happen or that it should, just putting it out there being that we've got other core sized Bots being release as DLX figures.
And to be clear I don't feel every Core Bot should be considered for DLX, Frenzy and Rumble for instance, or any other tape figure.
Well I think Wheelie is pretty much the only mini car that should/could be done at core effectively given modern standards. But then again, I did get that upgrade kit for it though so I think that alone disproves what I just said. So I was more than willing to pay more to get those few extra features to tidy it up better. Meaning a deluxe would've made more sense and given some extra articulation on top of similar features to what the upgrade kit provided.
Iguanus is amazing and Bomburst is really good but I would've liked them to be deluxe. Not only for the size increase but because they could've benefited from the size increase more, especially Bomburst. Bomburst needed some extra locking points for vehicle mode as well as something to at least try to clean that jet mode up more too. Iguanus just really needed his weapon and maybe something extra to replicate his wheels/weapon thing. Even without them, Iguanus is still awesome.
The Exosuit is one that wouldn't get all that much better as a deluxe. It does everything it really needs to do other than have a fully painted head. I just wish a company made some swappable heads for that mold. I have three and would like some different heads under the dome. There's plenty of humans that they could do too other than just Spike. Carly, Raul, Sparkplug even Chip as the Exosuit could be used in place of his wheelchair. It doesn't matter one way or the other to me if they never used it before in fiction, it would just be pretty damn cool. Though ankle joints would be nice and maybe better arms but I don't think it really needs those things.
The Dinobots but not exactly. There's plenty of other larger characters done as core figures so it's just more of the same really. It's the Dinoking characters that I would want to be larger. Sure they mimic the toys being core class but I don't care about that. I want a Dinoking/Monstructor that's the same size as the other combiners just as in the comics...that I don't actually read. At this rate though, I think anything is fine for Dinoking and Monstructor though.
Laserbeak only got done as core class since it's just technically a smaller DotM BB and it just so happened to work out. If they were going to make him bigger then there's plenty of deluxe SS Bumblebee molds out there to choose from.
Freezer doesn't need to be any bigger. Although I don't have one yet to say for certain. Could they have done the knee joints like that one upgrade kit at core class? Probably.
Arcee maybe but she's most likely going to get a larger figure at some point anyway. Other than the Beast Combiner one that is. This is actually another I don't have yet.
Vertebreak and Dracodon if only to have gotten more deluxe Fossilizer molds but not necessary. Shame we didn't get more at this size.
Rattrap was sized to the new show so it's difficult to tell if he should've been a deluxe. I want him to be if only because he's too small for the original BW. He's at least the same height as Blackarachnia and not THAT much shorter than Cheetor and Airazor overall. At least we have a good deluxe Rattrap mold so that helps.
The rest are larger characters done small or very small characters that would be crazy to try and stuff into a bigger size class.
