Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.
Again, what are you asking, specifically? Don't be coy. Or did you not see the news post that everyone in this thread is discussing right now?Nemesis Destron wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The thing that leads me to doubt it's Marvel Fort Max is that Hasbro is ending the Core class range, so there would be no new small toys on the shelves to interact with Fort Max's battle station altmode as a playset. And with Fort being a Leader, the battle station would already be pretty small, making Core class the only range that could possibly interact with it, so with the end of Core class, there's not much playability in an undersized battle station with no small figures to play with it. In that sense, the IDW1 tank makes more sense for playability value since it wouldn't require the kind of playset interactivity that a battle station would.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:As much as I like and desperately hope the Fort Max will be the IDW version, it will more than likely end up being a Marvel Fort Max, which no complaints there for me so long as Scorponok gets the same treatmentSabrblade wrote:You'll have to be more specific about what you're asking about for us to answer.Nemesis Destron wrote:Whoa guys pardon my ignorance....Marvel Fort Max???

I think this is the winner. Other possibilities I haven't seen brought up yet are Gamer Edition Omega Supreme and/or other WFC figures. We've already gotten a handful.
o.supreme wrote:...I know fans have been wanting a WFC type Trypticon or Omega Supreme, but considering they just re-released Siege Omega for like the 3rd time, and TR (updated for AoP) Trypticon, I doubt it. T30 Metroplex was basically already FoC inspired, and fans would want a more OG accurate Metroplex if they were going that route.

It will have been 5+ years since the Haslab. It'll be an anniversary year for the 86 movie. Lastly, they did something similar with Marvel Legends. Sentinel was a Haslab, but they have gone about doing a smaller, more screen accurate Sentinel that is made to order. I think it's crazy to think that just because there was a Haslab, the character will never get another market release.

Okay then. Please, kindly explain to me what is confusing you about the notion of "Marvel Fortress Maximus"?Nemesis Destron wrote:No coyness here but I don't get it making me confused but no matter!![]()

Considering the disappointment of the haslab, I would welcome a regular release titan.
Outside of the Driller though, titan Stratosphere is a nice fit to me.

I have to say, I don't find anything disappointing about Haslab Unicron. The people I know who got him are certainly glad they did so.

AS a proud owner of that bad boy, I second this. Great figure

I take it you are familiar with the Marvel Transformers comics from the 1980s, yes? Fortress Maximus was a character in those, but unlike his cartoon depictions, he wasn't a giant city-sized dude. He was just a big dude more sized to around the height of Powermaster Optimus Prime's super robot mode.

I guess I could have crystalized my comment with the word Who.![]()
But it was just simply me not knowing but hell you Sabrblade have given me a brief educating on Fortress Maximus outside of being city size or his IDW counterpart. I got zero knowlege of the books from the 80s sooooo the title Marvel Fortress Maximus seemed like something new to me. My TF knowlege runs very thin over the majority under this roof without a doubt but I ain't gonna lose sleep over that...thanks again!![]()

I see you haven't experienced Studio 01 Cell. I have both and while HasLab Unicron's transformation is still a workout, compared to Cell's nightmarish transformation, it's a walk in the park.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:transformation is actual torture,

Oof, I haven't gotten that figure due to how much I dislike transforming Cell, but if the two are comparable, I feel for ya, man.Counterpunch wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I see you haven't experienced Studio 01 Cell. I got the Studio 01 Primus and it's the only figure I 100% regret purchasing. The transformation is shamefully fiddly.

That's part of why it's amazing. It is brazenly impractical and I love it for that.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I was just referring to how it is so huge as it is almost unmanageable
