Anyway, back to actual Studio Series.
I wonder, with the Devastator set release, would it be possible to get an Infernocus set or even the dragon combiner later down the road? I'm guessing they wouldn't get the individual members released, but I think a set is doable. They would all have to be Devy-sized, though.

EvasionModeBumblebee wrote:Infernocus I think would be the more feasible of the two to complete, I don't think it's likely but it'd be cool.
Speaking of Dragonstorm, how many knights would you want there to be? I'm not sure they'd be able to do all 12, but hopefully there'd be more than two like the TLK leader.
Also have some info on Buzzworthy from TFW:
- JTPrime found a listing for a Studio Series Buzzworthy vs 2 pack, priced for 2 deluxes.
- 2 leakers have said that we'll be getting High Octane Bumblebee (the 67 Camaro from AOE) in Buzzworthy. No listings or anything concrete, so take this with a grain of salt.
I'm thinking the vs pack could be Bumblebee and Barricade, maybe with a tiny Frenzy? There's already been a release of 76 Camaro Bee in Buzzworthy though, so maybe not.
Again, little skeptical on High Octane Bee but if it does pan out I'm really excited. I really like the design but I'm not a fan of the original figure at all, so I'd be happy for the design to get some justice.

But wouldnt this just be a reissue of the original figure?

Emerje wrote:I know sizes aren't exactly accurate in Studio Series, but I think people are overthinking how big Infernocus is. He's supposed to be 42' tall to the top of his horns while Jetfire is 50', Demolisher is 74', Grimlock is 84' and Devastator is 103'. He should be a hefty figure, but combined I wouldn't want him any more than "tall leader".
Dragonstorm on the other hand is made up of 12 bots, most of which are the same size as Prime so he should be a massive creature, though I can't find any mention of the dragon form's height (or width for that matter) so maybe we should just call him "out of range". He's never getting made properly.

This would be a set sold at Commander price I think. Even if TLK is a very bad movie, it had cool robots and Infericus deserve a perfect toy representation.

I think what we already got for him kn terms of representation is all we'll get.

I really hope this turns out to be true. It's possibly my favorite Bee design from any of the movies, and it would be great if it finally got a good figure. Hopefully it would be a new mold based on SS49 (or at least a heavy retool of that mold).

Isn't High-Octane Bumblebee also known as Murder Bee because of the blood-red eyes?
Sentinel_Primal wrote:What do you think the odds of us getting a new Beetle Bee without the door wings are? Cause I do kind of like the Bumblebee design on it's own, but the door wings just look too clunky on the SS figure

Oh, I'd say there's a 100% chance of us getting that some day. How CLOSE that day is, hard to say. Age of Extinction came out in 2014, but we didn't get a Grimlock that looked correct until four years later, everything before that was based on old promo art like VW 'Bee. So guessing sometime next year, maybe? (I can't believe that was almost 3 years ago).
-Kanrabat- wrote:I'm not calling any % . But if they ever tackle Bug Bee again, it will need a complete new mold. They should do the same with the MPM.
King Kuuga wrote:Now that I have the 77 Camaro mold, am I wrong in thinking the VW mold is based on it? A lot of the upper half seems to have the same engineering, although the parts, even the skeleton, are different.
