WTF, will SS truly have nothing new until April for SS86, then July for the next bayverse wave?

Like, it's cool and alien, and I'm about it, I just want an explanation for it
Did you even watch the 6-minute video? How many times does it have to be said that this is a new mold?-Kanrabat- wrote:
I'm pretty sure it is a repaint/remold of SS Blitzwing.

That's why the file is embedding in the forum, here, so people don't have to go to Facebook to see it.-Kanrabat- wrote:First, I will never ever touch a Twitter or Facebook link.

They posted comparison pics to show that none of the parts are identical.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Your eyes are lying to you.-Kanrabat- wrote:And second, I think that this Screamers is a "new mold" as is SS Bee Cliffjumper is to SS Jeep Bee.
Nope, the reveal lied.
Looking at the pictures on Pulse, it is most certainly a retool, or at the very least shares parts. The 2 chest cockpits, the shoulders, the crotch, it's all there. It even shares the same very specific gun.
It's a retool, maybe more along the lines of CW Offroad/First Aid, but it's a retool, it ain't all new

How can the robot-to-vehicle skeleton be the same when they turn into two completely different altmode designs?-Kanrabat- wrote:It may be a "new mold", but the skeleton is the same.

Yep, there's a big underslung gun assembly on the seekers in the movie.
You can kinda see it here:
You can see it better in the side-view here:
I actually quite like the jet mode on these seekers, it feels more like WFC/FOC than G1. The robot mode is one of the better Cybertron designs along with Bumblebee IMO, it doesn't have the enormous thighs and skinny lower legs like Soundwave, Shockwave, and Prime do.
Anyway, it's kinda cool but not something I'll be picking up, my preferred Starscream is a little more triangular xD

The first of my photos (more will come)...
I have included two ILM images of the Seeker jets, to show what Hasbro were trying to replicate with this mold, which I expect will be redecoed a few times. These images show that the big chunky robot turns into a very sleek jet with almost no bulk in it, so the actual toy had to put the kibble somewhere... and in all fairness, I think they did the best they could do, with what they had to work with, because you still have the same gun-pod of the ILM image at the front of the toy, in front of the kibble.
If you look at the character models of the bots that had Cybertronian modes, I think they were thrown together in a hurry without any intention of allowing for toys, so I would be surprised if we see too many more of them, and if we do, they will probably be like Starscream, with lots of kibble spoiling one of the modes.
Second set of SS-72 Starscream photos...
Packaging photos, including a comparison with Blitzwing's box.
Third set of photos of Transformers Studio Series SS-72 Starscream, showing that every part of Starscream is different to every part of Blitzwing, even if those parts look similar at first glance...
The fourth and final set of photos for tonight, of the Jet mode.
(tomorrow I'll look at doing comparison photos with Blitzwing in jet mode, but I need to transform it first, and I'm too tired tonight - I also want to do another comparison photo of the jet mode with other "tetra-jets", which would include the two that I forgot in the video)
