He is such a fun figure with a very involved transformation and he has all of his accessories! And then with your incredible paint work on top, it puts him at or better than masterpiece level! Fantastic work!
On side note, I finally got my DNA Design DK-20 Devastator kit from BBTS, so my Devastator will finally be complete. Sadly I don't have access to it until Friday, but I truly can not wait to finally have my prized collection piece finished off.
Also, Thank you for splitting SS86 off to its own thread. It has been long over due. I can't even count how many times I have come on to check the thread hoping to see some movie discussions only to see it spammed with talk of how hot rod is not a voyager, kup is ugly, G1 dinobot talk, or just other stuff.
Thank you!
Be sure to post pics of the Devastator kit, it looks awesome from what I've seen.
Emerje wrote:Here's how TFWiki breaks down SS release years for Voyagers and Leader, it's what I was basing my post off of (and yeah, I meant 2019). Maybe it needs some cleaning up, I don't know how they decide release years.
Voyagers
2018 (7 figures)
Wave 1: Optimus Prime (ROTF), Starscream (TF)
Wave 2: Brawl (TF), Megatron (ROTF)
Wave 3: Ironhide (TF)
Wave 4: Starscream (ROTF)
Wave 5: Bonecrusher (TF)
2019 (7 figures)
Wave 5: Optimus Prime (TF) (Yes, they list wave 5 as split between years)
Wave 6: Rampage (ROTF), Optimus Prime (Bee)
Wave 7: Longhaul (ROTF), KSI Boss (AOE)
Wave 8: Mix Master (ROTF), Megatron (TF)
2020 (6 figures)
Wave 9: Scrapper (ROTF), Sentinel Prime (DOTM)
Wave 10: Blitzwing (Bee), Skipjack (ROTF)
Wave 11: Scourge (86), Hot Rod (86)
2021 (1 + 4? figures)
Wave 12: Starscream (Bee)
Leaders
2018 (2 figures)
Wave 1: Grimlock (AOE), Blackout (TF)
2019 (5 figures)
Wave 2: Megatron (DOTM), Jetfire (ROTF)
Wave 3: Optimus Prime (DOTM)
Wave 4: Scavenger (ROTF), Shockwave (DOTM)
2020 (1 figure)
Wave 5: Overload
2021 (1 + 1? figures)
Wave 6: Grimlock (86)
Wave 7?: Slag (86)
They could have squeezed a lot more leaders as movie Dinobots in there before and after completing Devastator.

Emerje wrote:I can't be the only one that transformed Bee Starscream without the instructions and thought there was a part missing when opening the legs to remove the tail part. Took a bit and some looking around the floor and box to make sure I didn't loose something before realizing it's an empty space for the hinge on the opposite side. He's a fun figure, though in bot mode his right wing is a bit loose on the end and the gun on that side doesn't have enough resistance and falls out on its own. I don't plan on trying too hard to complete a whole set.

Starscream. I've yet to see Dino in the wild. I'm just used to having Starscream with solid wings I guess. He just seems very fragile that way. Otherwise looks like a solid figure.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:The wings ruin that figure for me. I was looking at it at the store and just couldn't get past those flimsy wings.

I collect voyager Starscreams that are in G1 colors, so this is potentially in my collection, but those wings look like they will snap off at the hinges if they're hit by a breeze.-Kanrabat- wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Starscream. If you talk about Bee Starscream, I can affirm he's a solid toy. A pleasure to transform and no annoying parts that are hard to tab or that keep popping off.
As for the gun in spaceship mode, you just have to peg it in the right way to be solid.
The only fault of this toy IMO is there's no way to plug in the "null rays" on his arms. It would have been easy to give us the option by having extra ports on his arms. I'm tempted to take out my drill and do a mod.

They just look fragile. Having it in hand and transforming him a few times, rest assured that those are solid.
Speaking of collecting voyager F1 colored Screamers, I hope you have "Goblin" Starscream? Meaning the 2007 one in G1 colors.

I do not. I was (and still am) so repulsed by his Bayverse design that I just turned my back on anything and everything live action Starscream. I did have the HFTD leader class figure, but he stayed mostly in jet mode because he looked so good. But I had to sell him a few years ago due to finances and I haven't bothered trying to get him back. Now if THAT figure was made in G1 colors, I'd get him without hesitation, even with the crappy robot design.-Kanrabat- wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote: collect voyager Starscreams that are in G1 colors, so this is potentially in my collection, but those wings look like they will snap off at the hinges if they're hit by a breeze.
