How did he become the new Jet megatron again? He went back to Cybertron, met Quintessa who gave him his new form, new spark, and that red stripe on his head - you know, the same one she put on Optimus? That's why he transforms like normal again too. I thought everyone was smart enough to figure that out.
Never underestimate the hatred of the Bayverse I guess...
That is complete nonsense, that is terrible film making/story telling. The movie should've explained that. The viewer shouldn't fill in the huge between planets sized gap. Instead they focus on humor, ass, 8 other movies/series and internet memes.
This is not an intelligent movie, it's a sloppy, lazy mess.
Don't throw it on hatred for the Bayverse, I love Dark of the Moon. I love the music, I really love the forest battle (best robot fight ever in my opinion). I like the look of Infernocus. I like alot about the Bayverse. What I don't like, and what ruins it are the characters, story and well that's a lot.
If the viewer has to do so much theorizing and fantasizing to get the movie to make sense. Then why even make the movie? Make a few posters and a trailer.
The Trailer is way better than the actual movie. The trailer is way more serious, way more epic. That Cybertron was coming for earth looked amazing in the trailer. And then they ruin it in the actual movie by not really focussing on the grandness of it and throwing in a science comic relief guy to break any seriousness it still had.
In the trailer Anthony Hopkins' character brought this mature seriousness and mystery to the story. In the movie he's an old rambling fool/comic duo with the silly butler.
In the trailer you see Izabella and her story so it looked like the movie might be small scaled, grounded, following her. Nope, they drop her for most of the movie.
In the trailer you see Robocop reboot ED209, Metal Gears walking around attacking Transformers, suggesting a war between real man-made warmachines and Transformers in a post apocalyptic setting. That was like 7 minutes in the movie, we never see any of that again. And it's overshadowed by the boring drones.
In the Trailer you see medieval Knights, in the traailer you see World War 2, in the trailer you see Optimus Prime.
I'd rather have them do a Terminator Genesys trailer (which also royally messed up) then this lie.
Transformers The Last Knight feels like a serious version of Scary Movie with a Robot theme. Transformers Robot Movie, call it that.
