Uwe Boll--he used real hookers as extras in Bloodrayne. Megan Fox just looks like one.

I recently watched Rampage, besides the shocky cam it was a good view.
Anyone else in mind?

That's the thing, isn't it? I personally did not like them, but I do not despise Michael Bay as a director (I keep bringing up Pain & Gain as an example of good Bay).
Keeping the aesthetic direction of Bay's cinematographic vision, but with a different type of writing (as has been announced, though not confirmed specifically for TF5) might just do the trick.

Yeah...that was a joke.
But seriously? Jon Favreau, I guess. Iron Man remains one of my all-time favorite movies.Va'al wrote:RhA wrote:I like the idea of Bay continuing. I liked all the movies so far and with the broader scope of AOE (creators), I'd just like it if everything stays in the same 'flow'.

It'll never happen, but it would be awesome if Bay were only in charge of action choreography and someone else took over as director. He's great with visuals, but in other areas....

Other than ROTF, where Bay actually did write half he film, I look at the writing as the biggest issue. But at the same time, the last two movies have been steps in the right direction for hat aspect.
I just sincerely hope that they don't make it a 3 1/2 hour run time just so we can have more non-TF action. AoE was entirely too long.

My point is that it would be kinda weird having a new style all of a sudden in part 5, especially since AOE was open-ended.
SKYWARPED_128 wrote:That's true. Every director has his own unique style, and it would be pretty jarring if TF 5 was stylistically different from AOE. We've seen how things turn out when a director tries to copy the style of another when Joel Schumacher took over from Tim Burton, and he wasn't even going for a direct continuation in that particular case.

I would like to see someone else handle those spin-off's that have been mentioned. Just to see what others might do to the movieverse.

Perfect opportunity to experiment & try to win back all the fans youve alienated over the years. But all they care about is lining their pockets & they're to short sighted to see the bigger picture so things will never change.

Seriously though, I think a movie directed by Zack Snyder with writing by James Roberts would please the masses and make the fans happy. James in my mind has written the most engaging transformers material we have seen in any medium, and Zack is proven to translate great comics into visually impressive (yet relevant) movies.

Do NOT refer to fans as "mindless" or "morons". That is a direct insult and will not be tolerated on this site.

Is "sheep" politically correct enough? We both know exactly what behavior MW was talking about and we both also know that he was not wrong. You may not agree with how he phrased it but you cannot deny that his observations on group/mob behavior (and mine for that matter) have been proven countless times, not just on this site but pretty much on any site you go on. You simply cannot dismiss the evidence presented by basic human psychology.
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...
