I would like to see Generations return to some more variety in their gimmicks. In fact at first I hoped 2016 would play on the colony worlds idea from the Windblade comic and have a similar set-up as the Transformers: Cybertron line, with different characters from each of the planets across the size classes. Deluxe Moonracer and Knock Out for Velocitron (pullback motor gimmick for the Velocitronians perhaps?), Voyager Dinobot and Deluxe Blackarachnia, Airazor and Tigatron for Eukaris, roughly Deluxe-sized Fireshot and Vanquish which combine into a roughly Voyager-size jet for Divisiun, and whatever else they could come up with.

Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to Titan Wars as it is. If the rumoured Headmaster Soundwave turns out to real I'll still buy it.

But Cybertron did have a unifying gimmick though.

Yeah I really want a new Airrazor. OH YEAH and a Beast Wars season 1 Cheetor and Dinobot.

Considering this is titan wars and the titan colonies are a big focus now, maybe we'll be getting toy versions of guys from each colony! Wouldn't that be nice!

I noticed last week when looking at Sirtoys.com that the store has an overscale Basic Airazor toy on there - it would need a bit of repainting but it might be useful for someone who wanted Tigertron and Airazor the same sort of size... I need to double check that site see if there is an overscale Terrorsaur & Rattrap too... I guess we don't need an overscale Rattrap as much now but the gun in a bigger size would be useful.

I like the Colony idea as seen in Transformers Cybertron and would be happy to see it show up again in a Transformers TV show - especially if they used some of the other themes that didn't make it before.

I think it may be to early to say that the "Titan" concept is reflective of another planet - as it seems that many of the characters in the line are familiar ones. but I suppose you can mash up the ideas of a Headmasters/Targetmasters off-world origin (outside of Cybertron or Earth) and with Giant Planet vibe and do something that way - but I'm beginning to wonder if the only way Titan wars can make sense story wise is if Combiner Wars and Titan Wars (taken together) are seen as stand alone universes now.

It's going to be super hard to make a Comic story that makes any sense - it's just going to lead to more story-drift between the toy fiction and the paper fiction.

Also I have a feeling that what ever promotional material they are planning for Combiner Wars is going to morph into Titan Wars material and that is likely going to be wildly inconsistent with any thing else you might want to compare it too like G1 or some IDW comics.

One way around that is to use a Universe like idea - but Titan wars seems to be a "Proper toyline" and not an excuse to re-use old moulds like Universe often was.

Though if they wanted to make a Flanker brand that id reuse old moulds I'd be supper happy to see that - as well many of those old mould are better toys than we sometimes get now - and there is depending on your point of view some obvious gaps they can fill.

There is also the fun ideas the could riff on if they wanted to like applying the principle of "Remoulding" to the older toys (I'm not sure I approve of Vintage moulds being wrecked though - so if they did it with a new submould I'd be fine with that).

Actually I think I'll got make a thread about this idea.

I have Generations Waspinator and Rhinox, and I really hope we get a BW Inferno, especially since it can simply be a remold of Waspinator, though I wish it was a voyager class figure. And since MP Optimus Primal is on the way, I can only suspect/hope/wish that Megatron is not far behind.

New Depth Charge would be awesome.

I don't think I'm getting any leader seekers cause I really want them all in voyager scale, and the deluxe is too small and to me leader is too big. plus they have the false cockpits (worked for Jetfire, but really wish they would incorporate the real nose for these 3)

Ugh, passed on them the first 6 times, I won't buy them now, unless they do the cool seekers (hotlink, bitstream, sunstorm, acidstorm, G2 sandstorm...) I would be down for those, especially if they made them into combiner limbs

The real question is which Starscream will the IDW one eat next? He's already stole the body of WFC/FOC, Armada, IDW Thundercracker, and considered pretty much every other Starscream including BWII, Animated, Prime AND Bayverse. Any bets on which one he'll take next year and for Titan Wars?

Yeah, why do Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp get all the figures? I want to see more character development and maybe figures for Nacelle, Red Wing, Hot Link, Bitstream, and the recently named Ion Storm and Nova Storm.
