I really want to try to do the Galvatronus head swap from Cyclonus for CW on TR Galvy that was shown off in the last Creative round-up. I do believe it's a better head by leaps and bounds actually.

Are you talking about Galvatron or Override? Here's Galvy:

william-james88 wrote:Yeah, that really doesnt look good, that head is way too big. It looks super goofy. Thanks so much for the picture as that avoids me buying a cyclonus to attempt it. I guess the best fix so far is to use a silver sharpie on the titan master then glue the crown onto the back, if you want a rotating head that looks complete.
william-james88 wrote:Firstly, please speak for yourself please. Maybe you dont know about this guy, but avid G1 collectors do, especially since its one of the most sought after and rare figures from the G1 era (along with the white repaint of it, which goes for even more money).
Tigertrack wrote:Another reason, why include yet another Razorclaw repaint on a toy that is not meant to be him and that doesn't combine, when they can throw a bone to fans or introduce an even deeper appreciation for the past (which I know people don't necessarily want either)? We discussed this idea on the podcast last night, maybe you could check it out when it's uploaded, but this is similar to other repaints that were never intended to be that character, but they sort of fit, so they were made.
Tigertrack wrote:I see your point Madeus, but this tickles my beginning in the fandom nostalgia itch. Lione was my first individual headmaster I ever found, so this is an excellent shout to me.
Tigertrack wrote:Some might even argue that this is the direction the little Titanmaster packs should go, rather than using names and likenesses of known big characters without the actual transforming bodies, like Brawn, Apeface, Nightbeat, Crashbash, etc. All are meant to have and are deserving of full transforming bodies that most likely are not coming. So instead of known characters, they could release head only characters like Lione, Trizor, Kirk, Elephadora (or whatever he was called).

Sorry, I wasn't trying to sound rude there, didn't mean to come off as including all of you! After doing some more research I get why they picked the character, but it still makes me wonder why they picked him. And yes, I know it is specifically targeting the diehard fans here, but I still find it a very strange choice.

They picked him because homaging a headmaster toy that was only a head is perfect whem making a titanmaster who has no body to accompany it. That's the most appropriate toy to do in the titanmaster class. Like that no one can possibly complain that Hasbro wont be releasing a body to go with it
Kurona wrote:They'll complain that the head itself doesn't turn into the lion tho

No one has complained yet. The fact that this is a character fans thought they would never see makes us far less likely to complain

I think the Legacy Headmasters, those that were never a Headmaster (Blaster), or those that were some other type of master (Powermaster,Targetmaster) are pre-tools of the classic Headmasters. For Example:
Blurr= Brainstorm
Scourge= Highbrow
Slapdash?= Chromedome
Obviously in the case of some like Hardhead and Skullsmasher, the classic Headmasters were released first, but I do believe those molds will be used for other figures down the line. My gut tells me Hardhead will be turned into a Warpath, CW has gotten us used to the idea of a Warpath without a cannon chest, and Skullcruncher just might be repainted into one of the long-nosed Sharkticons.
Obviously in the case of Blaster= Soundwave, that's just what I'd call a duh repaint. It's just so obvious it has to be done.

Rumours have already gone up about Skullcruncher and Hardhead into Krok and Quake, respectively.

Sabrblade wrote:In other news, we now got an English summary for the events of that Legends comic that showed how the Headmasters and company got their Legends bodies:In the year 2021, Fortress Maximus's Autobots clash with a returned Scorponok's Decepticons over a giant black hole that the Decepticon seeks to explode, hoping to destroy the Autobots and create plasma energy in one fell swoop. Accusing his nemesis of being mad with revenge, Fortress has his troops recover what explosives they can, only for Scorponok to detonate the rest with no concern for his own soldiers. Fortress sends Wheelie and their human friends to safety as the blast wave hits Autobots and Decepticons alike, shrinking their bodies into super deformed forms! An examination shows that being exposed to the exploding black holes has caused miniature black holes ("blackballs") to appear in their bodies, shrinking their mass and threatening to collapse the Autobots in on themselves if nothing is done.
The cassettes inside of Twincast prove to be unaffected and the Headmasters simply disconnect from their affected Transtectors, but the other Autobots are still in danger. Seeing no other option, Fortress has their heads removed and retrofitted into Headmasters as their bodies continue to shrink and eventually pop out of existence. In order to get everyone new bodies, he then suggests they visit the Legends Universe, recalling the creation of their comrades Roadbuster and Whirl. Having tracked the dimension's space-time coordinates from the two Wreckers' residual radiation, he sets out to travel there via solitarium straight away—because the battleship Maximus that makes up his body is also shrinking. As they depart, the Autobots wonder if the affected Decepticons have had the same idea, and indeed the Decepticon Headmasters have already reached the Legends Universe and struck a deal with Tera-Kura Co. scientist Tarantulas to make them new bodies. Furthermore, Tarantulas has his own scheme in mind, intending to use the Decepticons to conquer the world for himself!
