I'm more partial to Scourge than to Highbrow, but then I've always liked Scourge's design and original altmode. And I love the little touch that you can stick Scourge's head on the top of his aftcastle to recreate the pop-up head bit from the movie.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I feel like Highbrow was a little bit of a sleeper of the line. Not overly a standout, but still a solid mold that ended up being used for 3 very different figures. Windblade was the best use, but Highbrow was no slouch either

Yeah, these were shown in the Fans First Friday video this morning. They're Walmart exclusives and use the Takara Legends tooling and decos, so they're essentially Legends reissues rather than the Titans Returns versions, much like the Decepticon Clones two-pack released in Earthrise.Overcracker wrote:Looks like Hasbro is re-releasing some TR figures. ChromeDome, Hardhead, Brainstorm and Mindwipe. Possibly in G1 styled packaging apparently.

Sorry, they're not "Retro Headmasters".ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Meh. I'd rather see reissues of Windblade, Topspin, Twin Twist, Misfire, and Slugslinger.

Yeah. But at least he has the vibrant turquoise instead of the Legends version's washed-out turquoise. He's closest deco-wise to the Walgreens Brainstorm, but with that figure's dark gray changed to a darker (and somewhat bluer gray), and a different layout.Wolfman Jake wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, these were shown in the Fans First Friday video this morning. Incorrect. These figures do use the Takara Tomy Legends tooling for each character, but the decoes are unique. They are substantially different from both the Hasbro Titans Return versions and the Takara Tomy Legends versions in color hues and layouts and on the tampographed details. These represent a THIRD deco option for all of these characters/molds. It's too bad that Brainstorm has the mouthplate-less head sculpt because of using the Takara Tomy tooling.
Weren't there between 6-9 listings in the Walmart system when they were found? More wouldn't surprise me.Rodimus Prime wrote:I wonder if it's just these 4, or if there's more. They are missing Highbrow...
I'm in the same boat but with Mindwipe.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:I might get Chromedome since I don't have him already. It depends on price.
And Weirdwolf and Skullcruncher.Rodimus Prime wrote:I wonder if it's just these 4, or if there's more. They are missing Highbrow...
Blugh, we really need reissues of them because the eBay prices are bats***, assuming you can even find them...ZeroWolf wrote:The next batch probably will be the rest of the original Headmasters.
Sorry Zelda, I just don't think you're going to get those re-releases

Also welcome would be Grotusque, Repugnus, and Arcee. The former two are at least semi-possible maybe, since the Monsterbots were part of The Headmasters.
