Yupyup. Before Titans Return the only leaders we got that should be that size to begin with were Magnus and Jetfire. Now we're getting PM OP and the phase-sixers. Can't wait to see who's next in Prime Wars 3

The Ark mode should be the focus, so that he would look great in vehicle mode, even if the robot mode was not exactly accurate. Did we ever even see Omega Supreme's robot mode in Animated?

I know why Sixshot looks a little off in robot mode, its the two wings on his chest, they are colored black so they blend in more than if they were colored white.

We saw his robot mode a lot. Was the main focus for season 3 as well. It was pretty cool. And there is plenty of focus for the Ark part of him

Countdown was one of the ones on my mind when I was writing that - he has some real potential to be used a significant add on to a Titan class and also as not everyone may be aware of he was also a launching station for Galaxy Shuttle - so if that character was brought back his base could have that use too.

I like the idea of taking something that functions like Leader Soundwave Base-robot-altmode but with a Micromaster driver for the vehicle - that might also be a Targetmaster or sits inside like Heavy Load fits inside Cybertron Menasor : http://www.tfu.info/2006/Decepticon/Menasor/menasor.htm

So the inspiration could be a Missile truck or a rocket launch base - or possibly a bit of both.

The Fun thing about the potential for so many multiple uses of the Overlord/BlackShadow/Thunderwing design - like how some have speculated it could also be made into Starsaber or Diatlas as well.

Is you can treat them like some sort of cross between a duocon and a Energon Combiner and juggle the legs over in robot or base modes... if we are really lucky there might even be some fan mode potential for elaborate base interaction too.

It seem Overlord's jet can piggy back ride on the tank - but I'd like it even more if there is a combined vehicle mode potential too (official or not).

If we do get Micromasters I doubt they'd get into any class beyond Legends (unless they were partnered up with other characters ala Titans Return or Thrilling 30 Scoop). Or hey, maybe they'll allow a new Erector considering he was once a hall-of-famer candidate

Honestly though, in terms of Micromaster updates I don't feel we need that many. We got some great Cybertron-mold redecoes as them in Universe 2008 which I feel fit perfectly (goddamn do I want that Countdown), not to mention Movie 2007 Mudflap basically being Erector. Plus Generations has slowly been putting them out through smaller figures; like the Thrilling 30 Legends Targetmasters and Blackjack replacing Menasor's car drone chest. I'd be happy to keep getting them little by little like that.

... but if there's any Micromaster that still needs an update, it's Vanquish after Drift: Empire of Stone made him AWESOME.



Empire of Stone didn't have much going for it - nothing wrong with it, it was just a little bit generic; the sort of story you'd hear in a throwaway line in MTMTE. Egregious fanwank with all the random characters was awesome tho - but this dude was amazing. I don't care if his original toy literally turned into nothing but the back half of a jet; give him a new toy Hasbro!

I would put money on Broadside being remolded/repainted into Tidal Wave. Probably just with a new head.

Yes! but we never saw the toy(albeit for some fan made ones)

Yeah, Windblade had an idea for it and is still running with it, but then Drift threw itself in there and created some chaos. I still would be ok with getting this guy though

In Japan, literally every single Micromaster except one team was made an Autobot. Including Vanquish. So, you can say the Autobot one and the Decepticon one are different characters; hence two different characters for IDW to separately adapt.
