I dont think that means anything or matters. I dont know why you or anyone bothers making up rules that dont exist. And fans should not expect anything unless there is any solid proof its coming out.

How does the line a figure comes out in not mean anything? Why even bother making different lines if they don't matter? The line a figure comes out in defines its place in the franchise. And no one's making up rules, it's common sense that a figure released during a line makes it part of that line. Tailgate was released during thrilling 30 so that makes him a thrilling 30 figure, windcharger was released during combiner wars so that makes him a combiner wars figure. Just because the mold was first released in a different line doesn't mean that every future figure that used the same mold automatically reverts to the same line as the original.

As far as Shrapnel goes I never said he was going to get reissued, I honestly hope he doesn't just like I wish cosmos wasn't getting reissued. While it's nice for the people who missed them the first time it takes spots away from new figures.

Oh yeah, I agree that that's probably what it was. Practically, it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to 'announce' a reissue that way either, and the presence of Bombshell definitely tips the scales toward "showing off all three Insecticons because all three of them exist now". The reason I'm hoping for/theorising a reissue is mostly just a combination of wishful thinking and the feeling that if they were to reissue Skrapnel then now would be a good time (third Insecticon just out, precedent just set, shown off again just recently).

But yeah, realistically there's really no good reason to suspect a reissue until we receive some word from higher up. A man can hope though

Original Mold, they released the oficial images, there appear to be 0 changes. Even Hasbro confirmed it was a stright up rerelease at the show.

That's the only modification I'm thinking of. He may not be Titan Master compatible, but if that hole remains then it would be fun to stick TM weapon handles in there.

And as I wrote, if ever you dont get your reissue, you can still get Skrapnel for a decent price online with the link I posted.

And Steal Your Goats, I dont think the reissues are taking up a spot that would otherwise go to a new mold or even a new redeco. Hasbro has a limited budget per wave/class and it seems we got all the new stuff early on, so to pad out that class while limiting costs and yet have some diversity on the shelves, a rerelease was the way to go for them.

If you want a Skrapnel - get one on eBay as if he even was reissued (by Hasbro) he'd be missing his gun. I anticipate they might consider a giftset for Hasbro or Takara - just as I anticipate a Rumble/Frenzy Giftset too for Japan.

That Mini-bot count of there being 6 figures in each year only really counts if you pretend some toys don't exist and put yourself in a cartoon influenced mindset / or go only on packaging - as you have to treat ; Yellow Cliffjumper, and Red Bumblebee & Bumper as not counting as they lack unique packaging. and that is without even considering things like Brawn having more than one mould. much as the head issue with Trailbreaker/Hoist were a thing so was a whole lot of design quirks with the Minibots.... just ask the people who specialise in them.

That's what I'm hoping. In the mean time, I guess looking at 2nd hand stores, or even import stores (Adventure Bombshell and Sharpnel) is another way of getting them.

I do know a thing or two about Mini-Bot variants. Condensed down it comes to this:

- Red Bumblebee and Yellow Cliffjumper were intentional releases, in order to make the line look bigger. Not to sure about "Bumper", or even why he never had a characterization drawn up. They're not officially counted as separate releases per se, more like color variants much like the three colors (red, yellow, blue) their Microman predecessors came in (Gears, Brawn, Windcharger and Huffer only came in one color though).

- Brawn having more than one mold is news to me, but the head issue with Trailbreaker and Hoist reminds me of something else: IGA, the distributor of Transformers for Mexico went really cheap with retooled characters like the Season 3 Mini-Bots. In short, they were just redecos, for instance a blue Huffer stands in for Pipes, a maroon Gears is Swerve, a white Windcharger is Tailgate... though Hoist got lucky there by retaining his towing rig. Strangely, blue versions of Cliffjumper and Bumblebee have been found there.

Don't get me started on the South American ones, that's just a mess

At any rate, the official count is still 5/6 Mini-Bots per year, though color variants got acknowledged. Also, (yellow) Bumblebee is the only one out of the bunch to be shipped in all three assortments.

So I opened TM Repugnus and he might be my least favorite of all the TMs. The head/bot is fine, but the monster bug mode has super floppy legs and can't stand without falling over forward or backwards, the Vehicle mode doesn't resemble anything, and the weapon mode is such an after thought that the blades can't be laid down flat, they bend a upward a bit annoyingly. Plus he has extra foot pegs that don't seem to have any real purpose aside from added friction inside the vehicle body. Just not digging this one.

Shuffler, on the other hand, is as good as it gets. He might even be better than some bigger figures.

Are you sure that seller is legit though? Anything that comes out of china and has random letters/numbers for a name seems fishy to me. I have seen fakes or figures that "fell off the back of the truck" with WWE figs before.

I believe Willy's point was that Bombshell being a Prime Wars figure while Skrapnel wasn't is irrelevant because the display was mostly Titans Return with a few other figures tossed in, not a Prime Wars Trilogy display. So Bombshell and Skrapnel being present have the same significance or lack thereof, Bombshell is no more likely to get reissued because he's been in a Prime Wars toyline. In fact, because Bombshell was more recent, and got a rerelease in a late assortment of Combiner Wars that was still on shelves for a good portion of last year, he's less likely to get a rerelease than Skrapnel.

No it doesn't. If we weren't getting Cosmos we'd get a character from an earlier TR assortment. Wheelie or Rewind or someone else like them. That's how they fill out waves when they don't have a lot of new characters.

My Local Toymaster just got a delivery of the revision wave with Bombshell in - and B&M Bargains had that wave once too late last year.

So I'd not have to look to hard to find a CW Bombshell.

As for Minibots - I wouldn't be surprised if one day Yellow Cliffjumper (not Hubcap) and Red Bumblebee get their own unique name.

As for the Brawn issue he has a lot weird variations but the main one involved the remoulding of the nose of the vehicle mode M and moving the copyright logo to another place. I think it was done when they introduced Rubsigns to give them a place to put it though the old mould was also produced with a rubsign in a non-specific spot too.

Basically the same thing that happened to Onslaught - the side of his cab was altered to take a rubsign but a version without that mod exists too.

I've got both versions of Brawn - i'd have to hunt for them... If I find them I'll try to remember to drop a photo on here.

Absolutely agreed - I was surprised since I really wanted Repugnus....only to be slightly disappointed. But I do like the Repugnus face.

Thanks to Ozformers we bring you word of the newest Titans Return reveals: Misfire and Slugslinger! These 2 figures were found at the Australia Toy Fair and both appear to at least share some transformation hints with Triggerhappy, mostly visible in the legs. Both figures are predicted to be part of either the 2nd half of wave 5 (along with Windblade and Twintwist) or part of wave 6. Check out the images below and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

Not gonna lie.. this really bums me out. I have yet to find wave 3 deluxes and now it looks like Triggerhappy is the basis for 4 figures now. Man, going the miles...

It looks like the legs and hands are exactly the same as triggerhappy but as far as I can tell everything else is different

Huh, interesting. So it looks like Triggerhappy's legs were reused for both, but Misfire and Slugslinger share a newly tooled part: the waist piece.

Ooh they look nice. Definitely getting Misfire to go with Krok despite the incredibly derpy headsculpt. Give me my Spinister and Crankcase dangit! A Fulcrum would be nice too but that won't happen. Not gonna lie I bet the 3 Decepticon Targetmasters would make for a bad@ss trio, kinda want all three.
