but... there have been other TM's still awaiting proper bodies for them to adorn...Brawn(yes! we also got a Legends one...but it didn't have TM head connectivity), Grimlock(unfortunately the POTP one won't have TM head connectivity) & Apeface...to name but a few
I'd say it's all but guaranteed that Scorponok is coming in the next three years or so. We know this (well I guess next really) year's Titan is going to be Predaking, but from what I remember, in interviews Hasbro's design team has indicated that they'll be returning to Omega Supreme and Scorponok not too far in the future - if not outright confirmed that those two are coming next, which they may have actually done, I can't honestly remember.
And sadly, I think most (if not all) of the single Titan Masters released over the course of TR will remain bodiless indefinitely. Much as I'd love a TM-compatible Grimlock or Brawn, I get the feeling that outside of the occasional easter egg on a random toy (see Nitro Zeus

Does that mean there will be another exclusive box set, even if it's just one deluxe again. Who else could it be?

Burn wrote:I moved some of my recent G1/TR acquisitions up to the collection room this afternoon and in the process I had to rearrange a few things. And that's when I spotted RID Windblade.
I never liked the character, and that figure was just loose and ... bleh.
So I came back downstairs and picked up TR Windblade. I still dislike the character but this is such a damn good figure, so much more solid. Weapons are a bit meh, but damn she's one of the best from the TR line.

Burn wrote:Oh trust me, I know she's not on the level of Triggerhappy. Triggerhappy is the Alpha and Omega of the TR line.![]()
BUT ... compared to those others you listed, to me she stands out more than them. Probably because of my resentment of the character and how I nearly passed on her "because it was Windblade", that I had little to no expectation of the figure, and when I got it, I was impressed.
That's not disregarding those you listed, they're all damn good toys, she just stands out more for me on a personal level.

but...it'll be cool..as an option..to use this on the Titan Class body(if that ever comes to fruition)
I thought we've been over this? I thought we settled that Scorponok was indeed the last die cast Titan Master, and that Fengul was the partner for Laser Prime?
Kurona wrote:Refractor as Shockwave's Titan Master would make sense. I'm pretty sure Shockwave was on one or two rumour lists too.

He was, but as it turned out some of those names were for PotP, like Abominus and Predaking. Snapdragon is an odd one... but I have a feeling he got replaced by the similarly colored OverboardOverkill.
I would look through the news archive for the list of names, but somehow the Search function is busted.

Yeah, I saw that. But this one has really no tangible source. I still wouldnt be surprised if they all happen though and i will have a ton of fun right now breaking it down to see how they could all be issued within next year in the model we currently have.

If there is any chance for another voyager, it would be in a boxset unless Snapdragon and Apeface are not voyagers, which would suck. It could be battletrap and flywheels instead but that would mean 3 mainline relases of the Blitzwing voyager mold, which strikes me as odd (but not unheard of, CW rleasd the Optimus voyager mold 3 times that year)
Leaders
•Sixshot ¸
•Sky Shadow
•Overlord
•Deathasaurus
If this is how it plays out, this could be the best yearfor Leaders since ROTF.
Boxsets (2 sets)
•Fastlane
•Cloudraker
•Tidal Wave
•Pounce
•Wingspan
•Quickswitch
•Godbomber
•Nautica
•Tidalwave
Two titan masters, A blue redeco of the Magnus/PMOP mold and a redeco of the Voyager Optimus mold would be here as well.

This would be pretty awesome.
Insurgent wrote:Ooohh, Reflector would be a good choice. The only modern one of his is the botcon one.

It was on topic.
But memes is bodrocks way of communicating, if it's annoying, by all means block him instead of posting off-topic comments yourself.
Stuartmaximus wrote:speaking of Shadow...i'm a bit miffed that there's not gonna be a Takara Tomy release
They'll probably make them look as close to some preexisting source material for them as possible, be it their original toys or their Marvel UK comic appearances. After all, back when Takara introduced Whirl and Roadbuster to the JG1 cartoon universe, Topspin and Twin Twist were introduced as well as members of the JG1 Wreckers team.bodrock wrote:I wonder what Takara would do for Topspin & Twintwist....

Rysquad wrote:Insurgent wrote:Ooohh, Reflector would be a good choice. The only modern one of his is the botcon one.
Hasbro could get lazy and just take the Botcon one, add the Scorponok Titan Master, and stick it in a fancy box.
DestronMirage22 wrote:But there's also the matter of Toraizer and a Titan Master Optimus Prime from that list.
Maybe a 3-pack?
Scorpinok with a parner drone that turns into a mini gun/ship (or city) and a scorpion, Toraizer with his puma/tiger thing that turns into a shield and vehicle like Sawback (who he'd probably be a retool of) and Optimus with Roller and his head-mode face being based off of Star Convoy or Powermaster Prime (like what they intended with Roller all those years ago).
It'd be pretty cool.
