You can presume how the transformation works in the new pictures from Toy Fair. I'm just wondering what the things on the left and right side beside his head are for?
At Toy Fair they forgot to extend them:
Looks like the CG model was mistransformed.

Wheelie and Blurr have to fit Titanmasters in their chests (which would take up equal or more space than a Combiner peg), yet still manage that.
william-james88 wrote:RodimusRex wrote:So... Is the speculation that the rumored Laser Prime will use Sentinel's head or perhaps be a major Sentinel retool?
Yeah, thats just speculation. John Warden said Titans Return will have a lot less retools and redecos than CW, and they will only be used when they make sense. So I wouldnt expect another use of that mold aside from Astrotrain. The Lazer Prime is rumoured to be a new mold.

But they are not Quadruplechangers like the CW Deluxes.

I'm more baffled what it means for Optimus and Megatron to be Headmasters who are NOT part of the line.
CW Galvatronus/Cyclonus had no fictional support outside of his bio but WAS part of the line.
I am hoping if the rumor pans out that the Megatron is either G2 Megs or, if it's a retool, Gator Megs who could still kind of work as an adversary for Laser Prime since the main fictional use of him was as a theoretically post-G2 Megs back before BW canon was established.

AKA, robot mode, sideways robot mode, vehicle mode, and slightly-altered vehicle mode.

The mehcanics are nothing similar, he's not a spaceship and a train that combine. You can see in his train mode that one of his feet forms his front and the other forms his back.
aye your right, my mistake, his train section forms his bottom half, while the spaceship part forms his top half, hmmmm interesting
but! it's still the mechanic of connecting two halves together! but just done in a different way to that of Energon Omega

Maybe, but I think he looks cooler with those things extended.

Yeah, but for example most of them have stiff feet to plug the hand-foot-gun in there. So there you lose some steps.

Yay, someone else likes Wheelie too! Everyone else seems to be all coo-coo!

Out of the ten molds in CW (including Blast Off and Groove), 5 have some sort of foot articulation. It is merely a design choice, not a necessity. With the Aerialbot molds (minus Bravo), Groove, and the Offroad mold, having the feet fold down would not make sense, given that the legs form the back of the vehicle. And the Dead End mold doesn't have any actual feet to begin with.
