Seriously, we're not getting Frenzy? Good thing I bought the Rumble/Frenzy Adventure 2 pack or I'd still be waiting for a pair of Soundwave's minions. Does anyone know if Takara's making one? If not I'm either going to have to buy a second Rumble to paint or sell the one I have.

For me it's just hard to see all the little sculpted details. I'm also looking to build a Lost Light shelf more than anything else right now, and this guy isn't close enough for me. I'm sure he looks better once you've opened him up and posed him.

I'm trying to build a Lost Light display too... but given MMC is far out of my financing, this dude's the closest I can get. And he looks pretty good in that part!

In-person that grey's pretty good though. Maybe this is just personal preference but unless they don't have him in-hand I'm really not seeing the side that dislikes Megatron's colours because I think they're spot-on.

Kurona wrote:I must be honest, Krok's really started to be one of my favourites in MTMTE lately - and this mold re-use fixes one of the main problems I had (bad headsculpt) while giving a superb colour scheme AND making it a character I care about! This is a perfect redeco. Love it.

It's made even better when you remember he's watching a stand-up comedy performance by Skullcruncher in one of the MTMTE issues. Foreshadowing!

My Mafex Rey preorder comes in at the end of the month, assuming it's not delayed again. Even if I cancelled, which I've been thinking about, I'm saving up for some more expensive figures that are more or less taking priority.
As for voyagers I'm not a fan of Galvatron much at all, his issues are pretty disappointing and a lot of him feels off to me. Astrotrain is better and is pretty good but nothing really jumps out at me as really cool.
I feel really jipped by Krok. I like Skullsmasher as a generic troop but I didn't really need him. Too bad Misfire sucks isn't IDW accurate. I think I'm going to make a Misfire out of Generations Armada Starscream and a Crankcase out of CW Offroad. The only problem is when Fulcrum comes into the picture.
