You can scratch eject off the list, hasbro said we wouldnt get him, nor the blue decepticon one.
But thats ok, Eject had a ton of love in all his G1 rereleases.SureShot18 wrote:Found Broadside and Black Shadow at Toysrus in Pleasant Hills, PA. And if they're around here they'll be saturated soon enough. Didn't buy either because Broadside doesn't interest me (even if I ignore the jet mode) but oh man I'm going to have to get Black Shadow. He looks gorgeous in person.
.
What stopped you from buying Sky Shadow?Kurona wrote:Actually yeah, I'm wondering... of the 6 Voyager molds we have so far, what does everyone feel about them? I've only got Megatron and I adore him, but what about Galvatron, Trion, Sentinel/Astro, Broad and Prime/Tankor? How do they rank against Megs if you've got him?
I have a real hard time with ranking the voyagers, they all have their pros and cons. I have this top 5 best triple changers list and I dont even know if any of these can even compare to G1 astrotrain. I guess the only one who has 3 nice modes is Voyager Megs and Blitzwing but the deco on megs is ass and yet looks better than Blitzwing who has fake kibble.
I think my favourite is TR astrotrain simply because the transformation is fun, its an old concept finally brought to light, all the alt modes are interesting and have cool references, and his robot mode is the best of all of em. But its not like he beats em all by a huge margin either.

The Octane version remolded several parts to resemble those of Octane.Kurona wrote:Has anyone else found Optimus/Octane rather odd? As in, the mold seems to be modeled completely after Laser Prime rather than any identifiable version of Octane? It's certainly a rather confusing way of doing things considering this mold was almost assuredly made for Octane.

That's strange, on the contrary I'd think being accurate to fiction they appeared in would be a selling point - why wouldn't you want the toy to look like the character you love? Especially when they're very obscure characters so there's not a lot of people that are fans of these characters outside the IDW comics, and of course kids aren't going to care...

I think...and I may be wrong, but he was eluding to the fact that he'd rather have the figure more represent the original series look, than the IDW look. Of course as you say, kids wont really care, but for adults its a mixed bag. The fact that many of these toys have a strong original series feel is a strong selling point to me, but some of the toys obviously have strong ties to IDW as well, which is a strong selling point to others.

And that's why I stopped hunting in the wild a long time ago. Nowadays the INTERNET is my plastic crack dealer.

It's old, but this was posted by Sabr on page 729.
It does look very good, though I'd rather have Machine Wars Soundwave. I miss Fun Pub sometimes.

Thanks for asking, but I think we may have different tastes. I am not a big fan of either generations or animation blitzwing. I will admit, animated is interesting but those big treads in airplane mode look odd to me. It sis cool that it made it to the generations figure. But of all the classics triple changers before these TR ones, the only ones I found really good were Springer and Sandstorm, which I think are the best triple changers out there. Do you or anyone else here think that these TR triple changers hold a candle to Springer and Sandstorm?

You sir, are just wrong.![]()
But fine, you can have Hardhead as MW Soundwave, as long as they remold CW Onslaught into Stalker.
