If you cant buy it on the shelves you buy it from an online retailer. E-bay is for the secondary market, you know once the toy is out. It is good for valuing the going price of old toys but thats it. Posting e-bay stuff now adds nothing to the discussion on value. Lets just move on please.

I am curious guys, between Sounwave and Blaster, which will you guys get? One or the other, none or both?

That may be so, but I doubt anyone would choose ebay or anything similar first over the likes of bbts or similar - especially when they'll offer it for the msrp of $100 less than your example

Probably Blaster, to be used as a poor man's MP.

I've said before, but if I get either it would be Soundwave just because there are leader decepticons to display him with. Blaster doesn't really go with anyone other than Soundwave (and... this is an option between the two), his cassettes, or Masterpiece; the latter in which he looks rather out of place. I guess there's also base mode but Soundwave can do that too; so yeah, if I had to choose, Soundwave any day of the week.

Both Blaster and Soundwave so I can build a bustling metropolis!
Plus ZeroWolf sold me on the whole nightclub idea for both.

I would think that it would be possible to see the following:
Hardhead->Stalker
A3->Vector Prime
Rumored Optimus->Octane
Rumored Megatron-> Blitzwing/Flywheels.

Maybe not a direct answer to your question, but I've heard of that rumour where Hot Rod's gonna be a retool or something of Chromedome - which I would totally take because damn we need a new Hot Rod. It's been 10 years since the classics one

Honestly I think part of it for me is not so much that we need a new Hot Rod (though I'd love to be able to grab a better one than we already have for retail price), but just that it wouldn't settle right for me to have a line that's partly a celebration of a movie, have a new Galvatron... but have no Hot Rod/Rodimus

Now! A more direct response to your question... I do agree with another poster here that Weirdwolf would make an awesome Carnivac remold. Especially since I didn't like the Pretender gimmick, but I loved a lot of the characters and I am so down for integrating the aspects of the pretender shell into the actual transformer (like ROTF Bludgeon - I still want that figure so bad)

I think it goes without saying that we should totally get a remold of Skullsmasher into Optimus as a reference to that one Season 2 episode where the 'cons turned him into an alligator. They can even re-use PM OP's head for it

Aside from that... mmm... I can't think of too much else, honestly. It was way easier to come up with ideas for CW remolds/repaints lol. I'm sure there's some 1988 characters I'm forgetting; I tend to remember almost all the characters from 84-86, half of the 87 guys, and then just the ones that stick out for one reason or another from the years until beast wars.

Hot Rod will be his own mold, but Chromedome is getting a redeco as Getaway: http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... ore/34811/

Most of these are already getting redecos. Almost all the titan master vehicles are getting redecos (already by wave 2, sigh).

For deluxes, there is Chromedome/Getaway and Blurr/Brainstorm. And Triggerhapy is coming, watch him be a retool of Highbrow.

For Voyagers there is already Astrotrain and Setinel.

And none of the Leader or Titan molds are unique since Blaster and Soudnwave share a mold while Powermaster Optimus is the Ultra Magnus mold. And Fort Max is a retool of Metroplex.

So for those last ones, I hope they dont get further retooled and redeco'd since they are already retools themselves

Why do you keep calling it lady hips? They really aren't and his design doesn't look feminine. The only time it really looked feminine was when Sakamoto drew him, and all his designs are stylized completely differently, and that was for only one panel

Well, The new RiD Ratchet looks fairly similar to Ratchet, especially with his redesign in MTMTE, so I'm thinking of using one of those with the Lost Light and another with the aligned (I only have the beast hunters versions of all the prime guys save Bulkhead whom I have both). I'm sad Cw Ratchet never happened, but I may still be able to make it work. I wish for the rest of the headmasters here as well since all of them save Hardhead are Lost Lighters. My dream

No it didn't, but it would have been nice since I don't know when we will next get a Ratchet. Plus his aesthetic worked well for the figures I have, as the RiD Ratchet will looks a bit off aesthetically speaking compared to them. If I had been able to get Adventures origin Drift it would look a little less painful as there would be 2 of them in the same style.

Plus, I really liked the head on the CW Ratchet. It was sweet
