So today, I bought my first ever...

*dun, dun, DUN*

Masterpiece Transformer! :grin:

And man, just looking and holding this guy in Vehicle mode, I can already tell he is going to be great! Can't wait to get him transformed and start posing him!

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to getting more. This guy is great! I can easily understand why some people only collect Masterpiece's (even though I don't think I ever will cut back that much). The only problem I had with him was figuring out how his legs went and I'm still not sure if I got them right. But other than that, holy cow this guy looks great!

Defenitely try to get a MP-10. You should still be able to have the Hasbro version for under 200$. This bot is a must have in any collection.

If you don't care about scale and if you want a GIANT Optimus that could double as a murder weapon due to his INSANE ammount of diecast, also get a MP-01.

Oh, I'm definitely planning on getting at least MP-10 Optimus eventually. I just needed something on the cheaper side of the series to test the waters before diving head first. Probably pick him up after finally getting around to buying that New 3DS I've been putting off forever.

Don't forget that new video game consoles only go down in price with time while old Transformers, especially MPs, only go up.

If you already own a 3DS, buying the "new" one can certainly wait, unless you want to play a "new" exclusive right now. All things considered, buy things with your heart!

Nice! I'm a huge Ultra Magnus fan. He's definitely on my list for MP's to pick up when I get the chance (I'll probably pick up the Leader class version as well).

At least 2 hours, Canada is super spaced out between metropolises (metropoli?). Add our 15% tax rate and you get a hefty price tag all things considered. I can walk to my local toysrus or better yet, just have this delivered to my house, because now it can! (I still find that insane, somehow, toysrus canada wouldn't SHIP to some people because of where they live)

You know guys? It makes me kind of sad. Comparing the original G1 WJ to the MP.........HOW the heck did I every live with the former/ The MP Lanci is simply lightyears away from the current MP which looks both good as a car and a robot! Same with the others (UM,SS etc).

Really now! The new blood among us are really fortunate to be born in this day and age!

Some PCC are perfect for a legion/cyberverse battle display. Especially the construction vehicles, that are perfectly in scale with everything. I skip the combined modes and the limbs because I really don't like them. However, some bot modes are way better with the bigger head than the regular one.
