The bot mode has an entire ankylosaurus hanging off him, most of it on the right shoulder. If the tail could be used as a melee weapon it'd be different, but it curves in the wrong direction.

The curve of the Dino mode limits it a bit (I was expecting that), but right rear leg is just slack.

I've always wanted an ankylosaurus TF, so maybe my disappointment caused a bit of an over reaction, but this is the worst of the BW Dino's I've got.

I've decided to have him in Dino mode with his head shyly poking out from behind another Autobot which will hide the dodgy leg completely. Just got to figure out where he is going first

As for a third mode, I haven't found or read anything like that unfortunately. He just seems to have two gimmicks that don't work very well. One opens his mouth, but you get better results from doing it yourself. The other is a tail slap that is really just raising the tail and letting it drop weakly.

Groove is COOL! Despite his strange body proportions he is a really nice little Legends. Great articulation. He evan has thigh swivel. :shock:

Really nice transformation. Bike mode is a great little future cycle. Cool head sculpt. My only minor gripe would be the look of his feet and the long ankles. Just think they could have been sculpted differently. But they're not bad enough to ruin the toy. These are some of the best Scout/Commander/Legends toys we've gotten in a long time. Keep'em coming Hasby!

That's Car Robots (RID) Hightower's pistol. Seemed like a good cop side arm.

The photos, mostly. Particularly how good he looks with that pistol, which is currently just hiding away in Hightower's driver seat anyway, as he's busy being an awesome leg. :grin:

Nothing much to report on the Transformers front lately, except I caved and finally got my first Combiner Wars figure, here in the Netherlands:

Generations Combiner Wars Bombshell

It was a toss-up between him and a certain controversial helicopter with the initials "AB", but I decided to go for the bug instead. And I love helicopters! Given this is the first wide-spread release of Generations here, he's pretty lonely without Skrapnel. Don't worry, I have BW Kuwagaigar keeping him company.

He's GREAT. I really enjoy him. But be forewarned that there are QC issues with the Headmaster head connection. Though there's more than enough people here who can help should it happen to you

He is relatively hard to find, so if you have one locally I'd go for it!

Yeah, my cat is a d**k.

Anyways, great news for me, I went to TRU today and they had all of wave 2 deluxes. And I still had my rainchecks at 13:47$ cdn.

So here you go , my very first fully formed combiner, I am so impressed with this:

Maybe its due to the negative feedback, but I dont get what is so wrong about him. He is solid, he stands well, he looks well proportioned, he poses well and he looks powerful. The toy I am most impressed with is Motormaster actually. His cab mode is near flawless and if it weren't for the torso bits, there is no robot mode kibble. Its really quite an impressive truck mode. I love transforming him too. The weakest link is easily Breakdown. Why they didn't just go with the cybertron Hotshot mold and carve out the mid section to give it a connecting plug is beyond me. Instead we're stuck with the most awkward thigh design of the past 10 years. But he looks good as an arm, so all is forgiven.

And I'm with you there on not understanding the Menasor hate. A simple mis-transformation can do wonders, and PE has a kit coming out that will make him rival FP's Intimidator!

hey will come very soon, I am sure. I was told that the docks are in vancouver and the toys come from the west, so you should have had them before me.

And which mis transformation are you referring to. I went the standard way and it still works fine.
