Went to Walmart and found the shelves packed to the brim with TR Deluxe wave 2 (had only been two Mindwipes there before). But then I noticed two Hot Rods so I grabbed one and looked around to see if anything was hidden around. That's when I noticed three whole cases labed "Titans Return Deluxe W1 17" stacked up on the top shelf. One box was on its side with the tape cut facing me so I easily pulled out a Twinferno, Triggerhappy, and Breakaway. Being tall has its advantages!
Great wave! No major joint issues, no bobbleheads, and clean paint all around. My one issue is Triggerhappy's landing gear was folded in wrong, folded towards the front instead of the back like it was supposed to be causing it to get knocked out of socket and for the flat part sticking out above the wheel to get bent upward parallel with the landing gear and a nice big, white stress mark at the bend. Not a huge problem, just a little annoying and doesn't really effect much.
I can easily see Hot Rod getting some remolding done for later in this line or even entirely reshelled for Power of the Primes since there's a space that if cut out could make a permanent head possible. Also the wing/spoiler is molded in clear plastic like the windshield which makes swapping these parts out for something a little less "Hot Rod" very easy.
Triggerhappy was a big surprise. Aside from being one of the most appropriately named figures in the line (OMG so many guns!!) he also has such a crazy unique transformation, I love it! He's definitely a figure that needs to be experienced. So much fun.
