Finally. Got this one off Amazon for £23.97 and now am waiting til Oct 4th so i can try claim back my £33.99 that I paid for one off ebay in mid-August that never turned up. Anyways let's open this lil dude's box and see how he is.
I have anxiety, depression and aspergers syndrome so my behaviour can be erratic. I don't mean offense to anyone. Just very picky about my Transformers collecting. You're all cool!

Used the Ebay coupon last Thursday to get this guy for $45.

Also, Coworker found this guy in a bin her mom gave her, asked me to identify, I did, and she gave it to me! My first Gobot, Loco!

I'm on the hunt again for Safeguard, didn't think he would be that expensive though

I sold a Safeguard last May (according to ebay receipts and one of the bots was missing it's individual head but combined fine). I thought it was an absolutely hideous toy but with an interesting combining method.

That's actually one of the big reasons I want it... And it's all because of this show

It's funny to think about how people reacted to him originally...
And that was the cheapest complete one mate. You might have a tough time with him if you don't intend to spend $60+ USD, whatever that is in pounds, too lazy to google it
That's why both him and Tigerhawk from April waited till a coupon, and then I hit while I could

Dunno if it counts a toy but I just had lunch with my folks while they're in the country and they gave me a few gifts from their trip to Canada and the US and one of them is the metal model kit of G1 Bumblebee. I'm not a big fan of G1 Bee but I'm gonna build this up and stand it with my movie Bee figures as a tribute to the yellow dude who started it all. They probably got me this rather than an actual Transformer toy since a 'flat-pack' Transformer is likely easier to get through customs I guess.

Re: Transformers Toy haul thread
Got me some cassettes!
Frenzy is great and long overdue.
Howlback looks great, really nice deco.
Buzzsaw is also great and matches TR Lazerbeak better than CW Buzzsaw so he will be my collection's Buzzsaw.
CW Buzzsaw will now probably be repurposed into Sundor with a couple autobot stickers so Blaster doesn't feel so out numbered at the cassette party.
But honestly, for me the real gem of this set is the 1 step Bee. I was originally going to just leave him in the package, but decided to let my 8 year old daughter have him. She's got special needs (Down Syndrome) so while we both play with my collection, she can't quite manage the transformations for even the more simple legends figures on her own.
The look of joy on her face when she saw that she could change him from bot to car and back all on her own was the kind of stuff you live for as a parent, especially when they have special needs.
Boy am I kicking myself for thumbing my nose at all the simple "kidde crap" like the 1 steps in the past. She's definitely getting a nice collection for Christmas as I'm hunting down as many 1 steps as I can on clearance and other deals between now and then.
Who am I kidding, I'll probably be posting some that I paid full price for here by the end of the week.

This is my fave Transformers related thing I've read in a while. Hadn't thought that much about that particular group of young kids before and while I never dissed the one step changers too much (I knew they had their own audience and was only annoyed by them if the toy shop had those but no Generations-level of TF figures) I have a new appreciation for them now. I hope she has a super awesome christmas of easy to transform Transformers figure fun.

That's worth it all man. Have you tried Rescue Bots? My son loves em. He's 5, and had some since he was 4. They're easy enough so he can transform them without breaking anything. He especially loves it when we both play with them. I should do that more often.
Want list:
Siege Sideswipe, Skytread, Soundwave, Starscream, Shockwave, Red Alert, Brunt, Smashdown, Greenlight, Toy Refraktor set, Impactor, Spinister, Lancer, Crosshairs, Hot Shot, Rumble & Ratbat, Frenzy & Wingthing, Skywarp.
Earthrise Snapdragon & Apeface.
Generations Selects Pirahnacon!

Yeah I highly recomend rescue bots. I had a similar story with my daughter (she is 3) and she was so happy to be able to transform Bumblebee all by herself. It really changed my perspective on these toys as well and it made me see how they are pretty cool.
Here is the set I bought and I found the engineering pretty smart on this Bumblebee since there is 0 bot mode kibble visible in car mode, not even underneath. It is a true robot in disguise.

Mail call today:

and my wife picked me up this yesterday, and left it in my car for a suprise. Super awesome when you realize how much she wishes I would grow up, dress my age, and stop wearing my 'nerd shirts' (judge not, she does say it with much love).

Nice score with Safeguard, D-Max. I love the Animated line. I picked him up for a reasonable price about three years ago. Safeguard is a really interesting figure, especially with it’s original take on combining bilaterally. The end result is pretty clunky, but still cool. I prefer to display Jetfire and Jetstorm separately, because I really like the personality of each. Both in show, and in their head sculpts.

Got a haul! Eh, it can happen.

Found the big lights-n-sounds Animated Optimus Prime at a thrift shop. 5$CAN no taxes! Only the roof part of the truck is missing. Everything still work and the batteries are still good!
Because I wanted the Cyberverse Thundercracker for my sealed TC collection, I needed the Starscream. Luckily, there was a light sale at TrU at 4$ off each deluxes.
So, how is Cyberverse Starscream?
Why?
Why do I do this to myself?
Not pictured here, but my friend got himself a PotP Inferno so that is spare four combiner limbs had finally a torso. Weird thing is IT'S NOW 40SCAN AT REGULAR PRICE! EVEN STARSCREAM AND GRIMLOCK!
I would understand the price increase for the next line, but why now? Especially for the exact same toys that were 30$ not even a few months ago.

Great way to end the week. Got some stellar deals on both some new and used figures. Dune Runner was new, but I couldn’t wait to open him. I’ve never owned any of these Beast Wars molds before, so it’s pretty exciting. I’d have gotten around to getting Powerpinch eventually, but seeing how much love he got in the Top Five Insect Transformers list made me jump on him sooner than I would have. He’s a real fun little guy,
Corahda and Saberback two-pack should arrive Tuesday.
And this was the other week, but I didn’t post about it. I also had some good, and bad luck with Walmart. Bad because I had the G1 reissues if Bee and Swerve in my cart, went to process payment, and it said they had sold out in the couple seconds that took. Ordered Outback. Walmart cancelled him. Ordered Tailgate. Walmart cancelled him...
But at least I got my Starscream!

Had an interesting haul today.
First, legion TLK Hotrod randomly found at Winners. 'Kay...
He's nice though.
But the kicker today is I found (once again randomly) a NES Classic Edition at Best Buy! I didn't even planned to buy this. I got a Email telling that I had a month to redeem my Best Buys points accumulated for years. I had 45$CAN worth. So I planned to buy some PS4 game. They didn't had it in stock. But the "game cage" they had behind the counter had it's door open and there they were, two NES Classics! So I forgot pretty quickly about any PS4 games and I grabbed one of these suckers pretty quickly.
With the redeemed points, that NES Classic amounted to 48$CAN total! TAXES INCLUDED!
(That's 37$US!!!!)

I'm not that lucky with Transformers lately, but I sure am with EVERYTHING ELSE!
