Also, Coworker found this guy in a bin her mom gave her, asked me to identify, I did, and she gave it to me! My first Gobot, Loco!
Carnivius_Prime wrote:I sold a Safeguard last May (according to ebay receipts and one of the bots was missing it's individual head but combined fine). I thought it was an absolutely hideous toy but with an interesting combining method.

It's funny to think about how people reacted to him originally...

She's got special needs (Down Syndrome) so while we both play with my collection, she can't quite manage the transformations for even the more simple legends figures on her own.
The look of joy on her face when she saw that she could change him from bot to car and back all on her own was the kind of stuff you live for as a parent, especially when they have special needs.
Boy am I kicking myself for thumbing my nose at all the simple "kidde crap" like the 1 steps in the past. She's definitely getting a nice collection for Christmas as I'm hunting down as many 1 steps as I can on clearance and other deals between now and then.

Frenzy is great and long overdue.
Howlback looks great, really nice deco.
Buzzsaw is also great and matches TR Lazerbeak better than CW Buzzsaw so he will be my collection's Buzzsaw.
CW Buzzsaw will now probably be repurposed into Sundor with a couple autobot stickers so Blaster doesn't feel so out numbered at the cassette party.

Who am I kidding, I'll probably be posting some that I paid full price for here by the end of the week.

That's worth it all man. Have you tried Rescue Bots? My son loves em. He's 5, and had some since he was 4. They're easy enough so he can transform them without breaking anything. He especially loves it when we both play with them. I should do that more often.

Bucky wrote:Great way to end the week. Got some stellar deals on both some new and used figures. Dune Runner was new, but I couldn’t wait to open him. I’ve never owned any of these Beast Wars molds before, so it’s pretty exciting. I’d have gotten around to getting Powerpinch eventually, but seeing how much love he got in the Top Five Insect Transformers list made me jump on him sooner than I would have. He’s a real fun little guy,
Corahda and Saberback two-pack should arrive Tuesday.
And this was the other week, but I didn’t post about it. I also had some good, and bad luck with Walmart. Bad because I had the G1 reissues if Bee and Swerve in my cart, went to process payment, and it said they had sold out in the couple seconds that took. Ordered Outback. Walmart cancelled him. Ordered Tailgate. Walmart cancelled him...
But at least I got my Starscream!
