I'd like to know as well because the only way to have a Gen Metroplex "on sale" is to get the Takara reissue from a store.

Kapow Toys. I was looking for the link to post and any mention of it seems to have vanished without a trace

I remember. I got two OpOp's for Christmas. Kept the second one here in the box cause why not. I've got pretty much an entire set of original BW show characters fresh and mint ready for display. Thank God I didn't have to buy a new OpOp... the prices

Ah but this is beauty in the eye of the beholder, as I see no problem in any of them. Especially Sonar who is pretty fun in hand.

Same, I got that black PrOwl a few weeks ago. He's pretty fun imo.

These are all fantastic toys in my opinion. Minor is a ton of fun, and very posable. I headcanoned him as partners with B’Boom. They’re basically part of my Beast Wars Wreckers. Sonar might be a little weak, but still fun, and great looking. I’ll admit that Jawbreaker may be on the clunky side in his bot mode, but he still looks amazing. And his beast mode stunning. He also sports what might be my favorite bio card for any BW figure. Prowl is one of my favorite toys. I got the black one a couple months back, and I plan to buy a white version when I find one for a price I like. I don’t mind double dipping at all.
It really does come down to personal preference. To me the Transmetals is one of the most solid and enduring TF lines to date.

Bucky wrote:I absolutely agree. I’d love to see some new Transmetals, or at least some strong nods to the line. The concept of Fuzors was better than the actual execution. I love a good asymmetrical design, but a lot of the Fuzors were a little on the awkward and unbalanced side. With a lot of them I prefer their beast mode over their bot mode. It would be cool to see them brought back too. With modern engineering I’m sure they’d be a huge improvement,
