Was this ever written anywhere? I have only ever seen it speculated by fans but no actual proof of that from anyone involved with the film that this was to be the fate of Nitro Zeus.

He only came with his Driver's side smokestack and grill sadly, no weapon or minicon or other stack. But he's still a blast holy cow! I was not expecting him to move so much! And ANKLE TILTS!! ON A UT ERA TOY!!!

Those weapons came from my Transform Dreamwave Volcanicus upgrade kit. The armor, hands, feet, and big swords are the only thing from the set I really wanted, and the set pretty much came with 2 guns and 2 swords for each Dinobot, so I have a lot of leftover weapons. They are all mounted on him somehow, but slowly making their way to guys who need guns, and this Prime seemed like he could go good with the black Grimlock sword and one of Sludge's guns!

Hehe, well, that articulation is where he got the nickname Bendy Prime! The cab robot Optimus from Superbase Optimus Prime isn't quite as articulated due to the needs of the super mode transformation, but Bendy Prime doesn't have to worry about that and takes full advantage of it.

As for weapons, the smokestacks are intended as wrist blasters so yours has one of those at least thanks to the driver's-side stack.

Ayy, it's good old Armada Optimus, the reason I've never bought a figure of Optimus Prime!

What's interesting here is that the version you've gotten ahold of was a Universe boxset repaint, so not only is he probably rarer than the standard version, but he also didn't actually come with a Mini-Con, he had a Cyber Planet Key that was remolded to fit the Mini-Con ports like the Cybertron deluxe.

Even though that one didn't come with him, I agree getting an Over-Run for him would be a good idea, he pairs nicely with him. Just be careful with his wings, I've lost one of mine over the years.

Just bough a 2018 Cyberverse 1-Step Changer Soundwave. Essentally Its a repaint of the 2015 1-Step Changer with black tires instead the silly red tires and its a cheap way to buy Soundwave.

But can anyone tell me what the hexagonal shaped hole on his roof is for, i cant find any references for what it is intended for??

It is, it's mainly meant for the Mini-Cons as part of the Combiner Force sub-line.

When I got my SS Megatron and Crowbar from Gamestop.com they said at the time they weren't available at the local stores. I checked back later and it said they actually were available and they had Brawl in stock so I checked it out. They did indeed have SS Voyager Brawl on clearance for $19.97 and the 50% off was still running sooo...

$9.99, a third of the original price, I'll never find a lower price. Not sure if the sale is still going on after today, but it's worth checking.

(And yes, that is the name of the road. A lot of stuff up here is named after him.)

(edit) Oh yeah, it was so minor and underwhelming I almost forgot that I picked up a Cyberverse Scout Optimus Prime at Walmart for $4. I really only got it because it's Optimus and I can stick it with the rest of them on the shelf, certainly not because it's a good figure. That and a Scout Bumblebee were the only clearance Transformers of any kind I could find in the store. Then again this store didn't get the big Bumblebee movie display that the other local store got so it wasn't overflowing with extra stuff. Heck, the only Transformers in the toy aisle at all was three Siege Deluxe (no Hound), one each of SS ROTF Megatron, RotF Starscream, and TLK Lockdown, and a pile of those cheap Titan Guardian figures still at full price. Everything else was empty and most of the pegs hadn't been labeled yet after the rest.
