Good pick IMO.

My buys this weekend: Movie Target-exclusive crosshairs and Animated deluxe-class Oil Slick. Had previously passed on Oil Slick, but the TFCC newsletter bio kinda sold me on him and I ended up happy with this figure. (Oil Slick's among the 10 Animated characters that got G1-style tech specs in the newest issue.)

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

Weapon: Air Rifle
Well, it's been a while since I updated.

Henkei Ironhide
Universe Prowl
Universe Sunstreaker
TFA Grimlock
TFA Snarl
TFA Swoop
Universe Sideswipe
Universe Bluestreak
TFA Jazz
Henkei Ratchet (preordered)

Which just leaves me Henkei Powerglide and Silverbolt to acquire to be up to date with UK releases (obviously replacing universe versions with Takara's superior offerings).

I recently got two Universe Silverbolts. I’m going to use the other Silverbolt for an custom.

I was really, really impressed with how good a figure he is. I think he’s kind of underrated.

Animated Shockwave

Postby Downshift7 » Wed Dec 17, 2008 1:36 pm

Weapon: Switch Blade Tail
Just picked up animated Shockwave at Wal-Mart in Peoria IL. I used a happy meal coupon even though Wal-Mart's price was under 19.99. It still work!Image
They also had Skywarp but his paint was jacked-up. I will wait for a good one. They also had legends class bumblebee, starcream, beachcomber and brawn. At $4.98- I could not do it. Maybe Beachcomber. Anyway that's what's new in my neck of the woods

Congrats on the find. I've had one for about 2 weeks, and I think he's really a nice toy. I've been playing with it and came up with
what I call a Cybertron Laser Dragon mode. Sorry, no pics right
now. Basically put him in crane mode, splay the robot fingers(front paws) like a three toed foot, bend the front of his beam cannon about half way down, after pointing it as high as it will go, and make sure the hook is straight up. That will make him look like he has a crooked horn on top of his head. Well I think it looks like a dragon mode.
Have fun! I'm looking for the Target repaint now.

I just got legends Beachcomber, and I must say I'm loving the mini-cons as legends! Great idea and kudos to someone at Hasbro!
One nit, I just wish his chest was done in the silver instead of white, and I'm not sure why a pacifist character has a gun in his alt mode?

But the big score was Blurr & Swindle from HTS,

Swindle looked pretty cool from the promo pics, but I was pleasantly surprised at this one. He had a lot of pop up weapons and more artic than I thought. Very pleased with him!!

I knew I would be happy with Blurr, and he did not disappoint. I love the weapon storage on his back, that made me happy, and he is very posable. However, he does have limited range of motion in the upper shoulders due to his design. I love the car design too, and he's got a pretty cool transform. Also, he's very tall, and scales great with the rest of the line.

Big thumbs up on all 3.

G2 Laser Prime, nearly complete on eBay- $20 shipped! In the listing he was only missing 2 small missiles and 1 large one, but now that he's here I see there's a disc missing along with teh disc launcher. I've written the seller hoping she'll send them ASAP. Til then, this guy's AWESOME! Nice articulation, and base mode is pretty cool, I'm'a pack it fulla minicons.

Had a HUGE problem getting some small G1 Metroplex parts recently, took 2 months and an eBay claim against the clown to get them. Here's hoping history won't repeat itself.
