Why didn't I bought the Protectobots when they were on the shelves?![]()
I only managed to find Blades today. I'll have to do some serious hunting just to get First Aid and Streetwise. I can just forget Grooves...

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Cobotron wrote:Just finished opening them. Ripclaw IS awesome! Haven't quite figured out what's up with the tail, but cool fig. Both modes are great. Transformation is cool. Love the shoulder armor and the head sculpts, dragon and bot. I wonder how all this rubber will hold up over time?
Starscream is ok. I thought he was a retool, but he is his own mold, ya? Can't stand up to save his life, but He's neat looking, and I like his fruity colors.
I am really loving most the PRID and BH stuff, but my main beef is with the giant gimmicky weapons. They are crap. Am I outta line for saying so? Although Ripclaw's is kinda cool.
Edit: Ripclaw is a lady?Totally SWEET!
Why so ticked WJ?

IS it luck? Or is it 20 years of hard training that has honed my hunting skills?william-james88 wrote:WHAT?!?!?!?!?! You have been very very lucky with distribution since you got back in the game. With Arcee, Brainstorm, CW and the rest. I am very happy for you! Let us know how you find him.
IMO, totally! I think this price point is right where these should be. The cars should be $49.99 and the seekers sit comfortably at $60 as opposed to Sunstorm at $79.99. Starscream is solid. He doesn't have any of the flaws or mold fatigue that Sunstorm exhibited. There is a little bit of mold flashing, but he looks and feels good. I did have $10 in R Us Rewards so that made him even more worth it, but I would have paid full price.Billy-Jim wrote: Is he worth it?
Yes! For some reason I am more excited for him than I was for Sunstorm. Maybe it's the classic character/deco, and now I feel like I have a leader for my MP Decepticons. The transformation is cool and far better than the original Seeker mold (despite the chest slidy thing). The colors and plastics used look really nice. The grey/silver has a nice subtle metallic sheen/swirl, and the blue has a great metallicness to it also.Liam-Ames wrote: Do you like him?

Well K, I guess that was kinda my point. I don't think so. That new Takara Thundercracker looks beautiful, but I wouldn't pay $200 for it. If this Starscream cost that much I would have stuck with my Hasbro Skywarp (old mold) and Sunstorm. But I do think he is worth $60 US.-Kanrabat- wrote:Cobotron, glad you like that MP Starscream. However, would you still like it as much if you had to pay 250$ for it?

What is the MSRP on this guy in Canada? The current equivalent in Queens money?
I just checked conversion. They are still weirdly over priced up north. 60 US = 79 Can. I don't understand the pricing on these things. TRU is guaging. we know this. But why was Sunstorm $20 more last year for the exact same release as this Starscream? (I don't expect you to know the answers-Kanrabat- wrote:Cobotron wrote:Well K, I guess that was kinda my point. Regular price would be 90$CAN+15$tx in Quebec, meaning 103.48$CAN total. Or 78.05US with taxes. A bit expensive, but perfectly fair for a leader sized MP. However, the coronation kit itself is NOT worth an extra 150$. I'm still pissed off to have lost my really awesome MP-03(g1) for a very average and clearly overpriced figure. 100$, OK. 200$+, hell no.
Note that MP Silverstreak was also priced at 90$CAN plus taxes. Hell no at that price, but perfectly okay with the 30% off promo I used.

Will, do you not have a version of the redo MP Seeker mold? I thought you did. If not, I think this is your best opportunity to experience this mold at a reasonable price. Plus your Apolyon needs this chump to kick around.![]()
william-james88 wrote:I really liked that BH Soundwave too. It was really neat how they retooled him by giving him actual arms that fold down instead of just having hands hanging off the wings.

PRiD Soundwave actually has arms that fold the same way.
