I love that mold, so much so that I also have 7 versions of just the Prowl mold: Both UW and CW Prowl, UW and CW Streetwise, CW Lightspeed, CW Smokescreen and CW Blue Streak. And I don't use any of them as combiner limbs. I would like to get the yellow Botcon version as well, but the price is insane.Emerje wrote:Can't believe I ended up with the Dead End/Streetwise mold three times this week to go with my seven other uses of it.

Picked up Magnus for 6.30$ (9$ Canadian) and Thundercracker for 3.50$ (5$ Canadian).

So I got another box of Combiner Wars stuff in the mail, this time from Transformerland.com. Photos on my new dinning room table with Walmart paper bags playing the role of a backdrop to hide all the recycling and Goodwill donations I've built up cleaning.
Never dealt with them before but I've heard good things. Wasn't crazy about the packing, everything was floating around inside a big zip lock bag. Looks like they must bring these bags to conventions (there was a price tag on it that was quite a bit lower than what I paid) which isn't great for the condition of the figures even though there was packing paper filling out the rest of the box. Everything was mostly fine, but one of Hot Spot's tires had fallen off (easily fixed) and one of Blades' blades has a stress mark at the base. Still, I paid roughly the same for the set as what MOC Protectobots go for on Amazon so it's fine. Also grabbed a complete Deluxe Groove for $20, I'll be sending Rook over to PotP Inferno.
And just because it was there, threw in a RID Windblade because I like the mold (already have the Adventures version and the RID masked version) and it was only $12. Now I need to find the SDCC TR version of this mold for a good price.
And here's a group shot of everything I've bought this week (except for the reissue tapes).
Can't believe I ended up with the Dead End/Streetwise mold three times this week to go with my seven other uses of it.

In a word: Cyberverse.
Dead End became a favorite of mine thanks to that show, with his dour mood and subtle respect for Perceptor, plus him just being a jerk and his interactions with Astrotrain. Everything about him was just super fun and I came to finally love a con combiner component by himself, much along the lines of First Aid for the Protectobots.
I got his Cyberverse toy, but it's a scout, half transformer, so I wanted a proper Dead End, and the show model was created using the CW toy as a heavy reference, so it mostly works minus the head (I wish a toy would make use of his face, not just the mask).

I wish you would have let me know. I have Dead End with a broken combiner port (which you didn't need) I would have let you have him at a great price.
Out of your mailbox? Or from your front door? You had figures delivered and someone took them?Z3ROhour wrote:My mail was stolen...
